What To Do Before Season 1 The War Within?

The War Within launch was on July 24, 10:00 pm PDT for NA, July 23 at 22:00 CEST for EU, and July 24 at 22:00 in Korea and Taiwan the Dragonflight Season 4 officially ends. All the Mythic+ and PvP rewards from DF expansion became unavailable. All PvE rewards that were available within Dragonflight Season 4 are no longer available since August 26.

And what we were able to do before the Dragonflight ended? There are plenty of activities to focus on before it is too late when the expansion is almost done, as with the new patch release there will be no other chance to accomplish them — they will be permanently gone. Among them are the unique Raid, Mythic+, and PvP achievements, and now it’s the last chance to accomplish these aims.

Here’s the WoW checklist before new season including the achievements and rewards that became unavailable after the pre-patch:

Mythic+ Achievements

What’s the list of things to do before Season 1 WoW that does not include Mythic+ accomplishments? With Season 4 slowly passing, it was a great opportunity to catch the last chance of getting M+ rewards. The first option is going for Keystone achievements. Have a look at the table:

As you see here, there’s one cool thing — the Infinite Armoredon mount, granted for Dragonflight Keystone Master: Season Four on the condition of earning at least a 2000 M+ rating. Though the DF KSM Achievement is already gone, you can enjoy The War Within Season 1 Keystone Master Achievement and get the brand new rewards and mounts!

And that’s not all. There were also Keystone Hero special achievements, related to completing certain dungeons on the required difficulty. Check them in the list below.

Awakened Raids

Raiding is fun by itself but is even more enjoyable with awesome rewards. Thus, if you are still bothered with the question “What to do before expansion in WoW?”, Raiding is the answer.

Awakened Raids were active before The War Within. Here’s the list of the achievements and rewards, that can no longer be obtainable within the current  Season 1:

• Awakening the Dragonflight Raids — Complete all three Awakened raids on Normal difficulty or higher in Dragonflight Season 4;
• Heroic: Awakening the Dragonflight Raids — Complete all three Awakened raids on Heroic difficulty or higher in Dragonflight Season 4;
• Mythic: Awakening the Dragonflight Raids — Complete all three Awakened raids on Mythic difficulty or higher in Dragonflight Season 4;
• Obtaining Renewed Proto-Drake: Embodiment of the Blazing and Renewed Proto-Drake: Embodiment of the Storm-Eater from Awakened Raids.

Firstly, despite the plans to remove it after Dragonflight Season 3, Embodiment of Shadowflame for Renewed Proto-Drake mount was still available in the last days of DF. You could’ve got this customization option for defeating Fyrakk the Blazing on Heroic difficulty. With other Heroic Awakened Raids completed, you could get Heroic: Awakening the Dragonflight Raids.

While Fyrakk skin is obtainable with the Heroic Raid being completed, Raszageth Storm-Eater’s appearance drops randomly starting with Normal Raid difficulty.

Secondly, there was an option for the most advanced heroes: Mythic: Awakening the Dragonflight Raids for completing Mythic Awakened Raids. What is particularly interesting about this achievement, is that you could receive multiple awards in addition to the achievement itself. These are:

• Highland Drake: Embodiment of the Hellforged — a beautiful customization for your Highland Drake, current drop rate from Mythic Sarkareth is 100% till TWW release;
• Dragonflight Raid Teleports — grant you an ability to teleport to any Raid from Dragonflight.
• Reins of Anu’relos, Flame’s Guidance — astonishing flying mount, which drops from Mythic Fyrakk with 100% chance till TWW release.

And thirdly, if Heroic difficulty is too tough and overwhelming, you can try to run Normals. The reward for this would be a beautiful Voyaging Wilderling’s Harness mount and an achievement — Awakening the Dragonflight Raids.

Awakened Raids achievements are no longer available in The War Within Season 1, as the new Raid takes over. If you are not sure, that you are capable of all the Raid runs, ask our Overgear team to assist you with the completion of the desired aim. For instance, now is the right time to complete Heroic + Normal Nerub’ar Palace Raid.

PvP Season Rewards

There are also some special achievements for PvP players to complete in each season. PvP rewards are normally Epic sets and Epic mounts, which are far more cool than the average ones. Here’s the list of achievements for PvP rating in Dragonflight:

The best rewards are granted for accomplishing the highest achievements. Gladiator Rank was and still is a point of desired destination for many players, given that we were able to get not only a Draconic Gladiator’s Drake mount but also an elite set. In TWW, Gladiator Title is also limited in time, and you should start earning the points right now to get The War Within rewards. Tips to Prepare for The War Within

All the quest lines are complete, achievements collected, and world quests done. And now it’s the perfect time to prepare your characters for the new expansion. We prepared a list of basic tips, that will help you to get ready for The War Within:

• Get rid of outdated addons and UI, and update the useful ones. No matter which platform you use for addons management, it’s useful to clean up those, that you will not use anymore, e.g. specific WeakAuras. And, do not forget to download the latest versions of addons, which will still be useful.
• Accumulate gold reserves. This is a general advice to save up some money or earn more. The ways of money are numerous: you can use gathering profs or craft items, or you can sell reagents or rare transmog on auction. The way is up to you. In any case, you can always use our WoW Gold service to receive as much currency as you wish.
• Clean up the bank. With a lot of expansion crafting resources losing their value in the upcoming expansion, you may consider selling the excess on auction, while it’s still profitable. Or simply use any vendor and get rid of bulks of unused reagents and items.
• Obtain better gear. With the start of Season 1, new events will become relevant, and the higher ilvl of your previous season gear is, the better and smoother will be your early-game performance.

Pre-Expansion Achievements and Rewards

As you know, some of the WoW Achievements and Rewards are either seasonal or expansion-related. If you are a fan of achievements farming, now is the best time to get the ones that you haven’t achieved yet. What kind of achievements are better to obtain now? For example, the following:

• Across the Isles — Dragonflight meta-achievement;
• A World Awoken — Dragonflight meta-achievement;
• Accomplished Angler — Fishing achievement;
• Treasures of the Forbidden Reach — Dragonflight Treasures achievement;
  
• Closing Time — Dragonflight Timewalking achievement;
• I Dream of Seeds — Dragonflight Seed-planting achievement.

Thus, Across the Isles is one of the several meta-achievements available. It requires obtaining 9 other accomplishments within WoW Dragonflight. The prizes are worthwhile: during the process of earning each part of this achievement, you will receive 6 stunning mounts, the meta-achievement itself, and a huge leap towards the next meta-achievement — A World Awoken.

What’s interesting about meta-achievements is that they allow you to plan content exploration in advance, which positively affects your progress in leveling, reputation farming, gear obtaining, and even more. While it’s useful now? When the Warbands become active, these earned resources will be shared among your characters. Isn’t it a good thing to get before TWW?

Then, Accomplished Angler — Fishing Dragonflight achievement — is especially useful to level up your Fishing profession. During the process of completing all the required parts, you will receive a few nice mounts for your collection.

Collecting treasures, participating in Timewalking activities, planting seeds — all of it is a fun part of playing the last days of the expansion, which also grants you valuable prizes: Cosmetic items, resources, reagents, etc. Your character can benefit from selling the rewards or adding them to a collection, which is beneficial and will allow a smooth and enjoyable transfer into The War Within.

Classes Leveling

The War Within expansion is here, and the new feature — Warbands — is already available. Thus, the best thing to do is to level up the characters that you would like to include in your Warband.

Shared reputation and resources, currency transfer, Warbound items, and even more — all of it will is available now, as the Warbands are added to the game.  Therefore, it’s so convenient to have 3-4 Max Level Alts.

In The War Within, the starting point for Evokers is level 10, previously we used to start playing this class on Level 58. Though now it takes longer to level up your Evoker, it’s not a problem for our team. We can help you with the Power Leveling of any character you like, just ask our team of pro players to assist. Mage Tower Completion

Not an obvious choice, but still — Mage Tower is among the activities you can and probably should complete. Why so? Though Mage Tower was brought back to Dragonflight and it’s still active in The War Within, we don’t know if it will remain in its current state, or scaled to be tougher.

Completing the Mage Tower challenge grants very nice transmog items, that prove your strength and skill, as the Tower Challenges are hard. You might spend hours trying, waste tons of consumables, and still get nothing. If you just want to have fun and loot transmog, ask our team for Mage Tower Challenge carrying, and we’ll do this for you.

By the way, scaling problems might appear even though Mage Tower remains in the current expansion. It’s advised to use the best and ost suitable gear from previous expansions for better challenge completion.
