The War Within Monk Overview

Monk is a class that can choose between 3 available roles. Playing Monk is interesting because of the mechanics. Every spec has unique and amazing features that many players love. • Cooldown Management. Keep your Chi spenders on cooldown as much as possible. Plan ahead to ensure you have enough Chi for high-priority abilities during overlaps;
• Proc Management. React promptly to procs like Dance of Chi-Ji and Blackout Kick. Avoid overstacking these procs to maximize your damage output;
• Resource Management During Cooldowns. Major cooldowns will give you more Energy and Chi than usual. While avoiding caps becomes less critical, remain aware to optimize your rotation.

The War Within Monk Leveling

Thanks to the fact that Monk can handle all the roles in the game, we assume that the most efficient way to level up this class is to run dungeons. That will save you a huge chunk of time as you will get a lot of experience in one place without any extra runs around the open world.

Note that dungeon leveling can be inefficient if you do it with a weak pug group, as they sometimes can wipe over and over again.
