Only a few dungeons from the whole World of Warcraft history helped players enhance their mount collections. Dragonflight expansion surely cannot be placed in the category of the most generous ones. But four mounts are four mounts, so let’s talk about all of them in our Dragonflight Dungeon Mounts guide.
Even if developers don’t plan to add mounts in the loot tables of the expansion dungeons, some well-established rules prevent them from avoiding them at all. At least, all we know, that no World of Warcraft expansion since the Wrath of the Lich King cannot be imagined without the Glory of the Hero achievement mount. The same with the seasonal rewards for the Keystone Master achievement for all stubborn Mythic+ competitors, which were firstly added in the Battle for Azeroth. And, of course, no one World of Warcraft megadungeon since Legion wasn’t released without the unique mounts.
In addition, Dragonflight expansion presented us another dungeon mount related to the Iskaara Tuskarr faction, which can be acquired the very specific way.
How to get Dragonflight Dungeon Mounts
As usual, before we start talking about the mounts in detail, let us share with you a short table with all Dragonflight Dungeon Mounts and their sources. It can be useful for you, if you search for specific ones.
| Mount | How to get |
| Shellac | Glory of the Dragonflight Hero achievement |
| Verdant Armoredon | Seasonal Keystone Master achievement |
| Ivory Trader’s Ottuk | Exchange for specific dungeon items |
| Quantum Courser | Dawn if the Infinite rare drop |
Now, when the course is set, let’s move on to discuss each of them.
Glory of the Dragonflight Hero Mount
Some players can say that Glory of the Raider achievements are the hardest challenge from all possible with a mount as a reward. Glory of the Hero achievements can argue with that. While almost every raid encounter requires about 2-3 hours to fully complete it, Glory of the Dragonflight Hero consists of 25 boss-related achievements from the 8 Dragonflight dungeons. And each one should be completed at least on Mythic +0 difficulty. But Shellac lava snail is worth it.

So, let’s talk about the specific dungeons and achievements from the Glory of the Dragonflight Hero achievement.
Algeth’ar Academy
| See Me After Class | Attack Vexamus and wait in the center of the platform for about 5 seconds until orbs appear. After that, move the boss from the center to the outer circle and kite him around, avoiding the orbs. |
| Duck, Duck, Spruce! | Find Well-Fed Ducklings in the pool behind the Overgrown Ancient and click on them. You will be 65% slower, but all you have to do is to kill the boss. |
| Squad Goals | All you need is practice to complete the requirements during the Crawth boss fight. |
Brackenhide Hollow
| Growlbossify | Find the Chief Softpaw in the Hackclaw’s War-Band room. One player should open the cage, and two others should find the weapon racks, get the required items, and quickly equip Softpaw with them. After that, just kill the bosses as fast as it is possible until they kill the Chief. |
| All Bark, All Bite | Every player from the party should be consumed by Treemouth to get Partially Digested debuff. After that, kill the boss. |
| So You Can Kill This in a Way That Matters… | Attack Decatriarch Wratheye and find three mushrooms above the boss’s room. Take them and go to the boss platform, you should see the extra action button and use it to plant mushrooms. After that, the tank should aim the boss Decaystrike at the planted mushrooms. |
Halls of Infusion
| Toxicity Strike Team | After the first dungeon boss, go to the stairs on your left leading you to the Reservoirs. Push the button in the pool to summon the Toxic Swogmother. Kill it. |
| Hungry Hungry Hornswog | Don’t let the boss use Gulp on any targets. After every Overpowering Croak use your AoE control spells to stop the appearing Curious Swoglets. When 10 Swoglets are summoned, let the Gulping Goliath eat them, and kill the boss. |
| Go With the Flow | After the Cast Away boss spell, don’t go to the boss and kill 3 flow control units. After that, you can kill the Primal Tsunami. |
Neltharus
| Knowledge is… Preserved? | Aim Chargath, Bane of Scales to the stairs, kick Fiery Focus cast, and show the maximum DPS. |
| Ready for Raiding VIII | It’s a personal achievement, so just avoid all the mechanics. The faster you kill the boss, the easier this challenge will be. |
| Liquid Hot Magma | Get the Draconic Tincture from the table nearby the entrance. All players should throw it in the Magmatusk before the fight starts. After that, just kill the boss. |
Ruby Life Pools
| Are You My Broodmother? | Find the egg at the beginning of the dungeon behind the pillars. Tank should take it and get damage from hail bombs on the first boss, fire swirl on the ground on the second boss, and fire breath on the third boss. After that, the egg should transform into the Tempered Ruby Egg NPC. Heal it, and kill the bosses as fast as it is possible. |
| Dragon Kill Points | Just run over the eggs in the room to summon more whelps. Defeat 40 and kill the boss. |
| Does Steam Do Fire Damage? | Tank the boss near the pools to aim the Molten Boulder into them. Repeat 4 times. |
The Azure Vault
| You Must Be Made of Hide | Personal achievement. Just complete the dungeon run without triggering the little blue runes on the ground or the whelplings with the surrounding circles. |
| Icy What You Did There | Before the pull, find the blue floating crystal and mark this place. During the fight, the player who becomes the target of the Icy Devastator cast, should run to the crystal and stay near it. Every Devastator cast consists of 4 damaging ticks, so ideally you should repeat this two more times. After that, just nuke the boss. |
| The Cracked Crystal | Find three purple geodes around the edge of the room and mark them. During the fight, tank should aim the boss on them. After Dragon Strike, every geode will summon 3 adds. Kill the 9 adds and Umbrelskul. |
The Nokhud Offensive
| What Are The Chances… | During the Lightning Strike cast, all players should surround the tank. Check that tank touches every circle. If you do it right, the Storm Elemental will appear. Kill it and the boss too. |
| Weapons of the Maruukai | Before the fight starts, you should find 3 weapons in the caves around the boss arena. The Spear of Tolui increases the incoming damage by 20%, the War Axe of Berke reduces the movement speed by 30%, and, finally, the Bow of Sartaq reduces incoming healing by 20%. Take these weapons and kill the boss. |
| Nokhud Deed Goes Unnoticed | In phase two, when Balakar Khan drains Ohn’ahra of power, just heal her. |
| Ohuna Incubation | You can complete this achievement even solo. Just find the 8 nests on the map (usually on the mountain sides or tops), get eggs, and place them near nearby Ohuna Keeper Taruk. You will have 3 minutes to deliver every egg. |
Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr
| It’s a Trogg Eat Trogg World | Bromach will summon the adds during the boss fight. Just wait until 10 of them appear, and kill the boss, avoiding the AoE spells. |
| No, You’re Stunning! | Walk Sentinel Talondras through 2 orbs to remove the Inexorable immune buff from him. After that, tank should walk the boss through orb one more time, and players also should simultaneously run through them. |
| Like Sands Through the Hourglass | Track the Eternity Orbs marks on the floor, and don’t kill the Chrono-Lord Deios until you catch 20 of them. |
You can avoid completion of all these achievements with Glory of the Dragonflight Hero service from Overgear.
Dragonflight Dungeons Keystone Master Mount
Keystone Master is an essential achievement for Mythic+ fans, which requires players to reach rating 2000 during the season. KSM rewards traditionally refers to the expansion theme, and change only the colors or other small details during the current expansions. For example, Shadowlands Keystone Master rewards were the Death Elementals. In Dragonflight, developers prepared for the Mythic+ participators Armoredon mounts, ancient Dragon Isles beasts.
Dragonflight Season 3 Keystone Master allows players to ride the Emerald Dream related Verdant Armoredon.

As we said before, you have to get 2000 Mythic+ rating during the season by completion the dungeons from the seasonal pool you can find in the list below:
- Dawn of the Infinite: Galakrond’s Fall (Dragonflight)
- Dawn of the Infinite: Murozond’s Rise (Dragonflight)
- Waycrest Manor (Battle for Azeroth)
- Atal’Dazar (Battle for Azeroth)
- Darkheart Thicket (Legion)
- Black Rook Hold (Legion)
- Everbloom (Warlords of Draenor)
- Throne of the Tides (Cataclysm)
In most cases, you should have enough rating for the achievement after completion of all the dungeons on Mythic +15 level both on the Fortified and Tyrannical weeks. But with our Keystone Master mount from Overgear, you can get it much faster.
Ivory Trader’s Ottuk Mount
Another riding beast native to the Dragon Isles is Ivory Trader’s Ottuk. Iskaara Tuskarr related otter is produced in an unusual for the World of Warcraft way, firstly added in the Dragonflight expansion.

To enhance your collection with Ivory Trader’s Ottuk, you should complete three original Dragonflight dungeons, until you get three specific items:
- Thunderous Downburst Ring from The Raging Tempest (2nd boss in the Nokhud Offensive)
- Unstable Arcane Loop from Leymor (1st boss in The Azure Vault)
- Platinum Star Band from Vexamus (1st boss in Algeth’ar Academy) or from quest The Algeth’ar Academy
In most cases, you have to complete every dungeon several times, but you can use the various dungeon difficulties to get them faster, even in one day. When all items will be yours, just find the Iskaara Tuskarr vendor Tattukiaka to exchange the dungeon drop for a mount.
But if your want to get not only Ivory Trader’s Ottuk, but other Iskaara Tuskarr mounts, you can take a closer look at our Iskaara Tuskarr Mounts Bundle.
Quantum Courser Mount
Finally, the last known Dragonflight mount was added in the Dawn of the Infinite megadungeon. While DotI has no hard mode with a mount as a reward for completion, like it was in the previous megadungeons, you still can get a rare drop one from the dungeon last boss.
It’s interesting that Quantum Courser mount doesn’t have a unique model. After using this item, you will get in your collection one of rare mounts from the past dungeons and raids. You can find more information about the Quantum Courser Mount and its mount list in our Dawn of the Infinite megadungeon guide.
So, this is all new mounts you can obtain in the Dragonflight dungeons. But the dozens of the rarest mounts waiting for you in the dungeons of the past expansions, and we’ll talk about all of them later. We hope our guide was helpful for you, and you will ride on Dragonflight dungeon mounts as fast as you can (or want).
