What’s New in The War Within Season 3
Season 3 of The War Within arrives with Patch 11.2 and brings new endgame content across all modes. Players can expect a new raid, a fresh Mythic+ dungeon pool, updates to PvP, and a new Delves season. Let’s take a detailed look at all the additions waiting for players in Season 3. A brief summary of all Season 3 features:
- New Zone — K’aresh;
- New Players’ Hub — Tazavesh, the Veiled Market;
- New Tier Sets;
- New M+ Dungeon Rotation;
- New Dungeon — Eco-Dome Al’dani;
- New Raid — Manaforge Omega;
- Renown Tracks with Manaforge Vandals;
- Legendary Cloak;
- New Delve — The Archival Assault;
- New PvP Zone.
The War Within Season 3 New Zone
The first major feature of the new update is a new TWW Season 3 playable zone – K’aresh. K’aresh is home to the Ethereals and is now threatened by Dimensius and his followers. Players will team up with Alleria Windrunner and Locus-Walker to stop the growing void presence.
As usual, the new zone will introduce a bunch of new activities like exploring Tazavesh, restoring eco-domes, and Phase Diving — a feature that allows players to shift between two different versions of this zone.
The War Within Season 3 Hub
Tazavesh, the Veiled Market, was originally released as a mega-dungeon in Shadowlands. Now it returns as The War Within Season 3 central player hub. Now it will serve as a gathering hub where players can access vendors, portals, quest hubs, and more. The layout has been adjusted to allow easier navigation and support for seasonal content.
Tazavesh is now a part of K’aresh and plays a role in both story progression and gameplay systems. It serves the same purpose that currently is being performed by Dornogal — players will return here regularly for weekly activities, professions, and to interact with major NPCs.
The War Within Season 3 New Tier Sets
While we don’t know the exact names for each WoW Season 3 tier set just yet, some players have already managed to datamine tier effects. Just like in TWW Season 2, each Hero spec will get its own version of the tier set, meaning that there are multiple tier sets for each class.
📌 While the tier sets’ names are not currently known, we will update this guide as soon as information becomes available to the public.
The War Within Season 3 Dungeons
As usual, the new season brings a fresh Mythic+ rotation with a mix of five new and three returning dungeons. They include instances of the current expansion and three returning dungeons from Shadowlands, as well as one completely new dungeon for Season 3. Eco-Dome Al’dani will become a part of Season 3 rotation, as well as 3 Shadowlands dungeons.
You can find new Mythic+ dungeon rotation and seasonal updates in our The War Within Mythic+ Guide.
For players aiming to push keys or gear up efficiently, understanding the pool will help with preparation for future content. If you want to get the loot from these dungeons, but don’t want to spend time clearing them yourself, you can check out our Mythic Key services here at Overgear instead!
New War Within Season 3 Dungeon
The new War Within Season 3 dungeon is called Eco-Dome Al’dani and features three bosses total. It is located in one of the ethereal eco-domes now occupied by wastelanders. Players will fight off Devourer creatures and hostile forces to retake control of the dome. It includes a mix of ethereal wildlife and enemy factions in a small layout, making it great for players who prefer shorter dungeons.
Eco-Dome Al’dani will be available on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic 0 difficulties at the launch of the Ghosts of K’aresh patch and is part of the The War Within Season 3 Mythic+ rotation. In terms of the story, it is designed to follow the events of the raid, serving as a continuation of the campaign. However, it can be fully accessible at launch for all players without the need to clear the raid beforehand.
Season 3 New Raid in The War Within
The War Within Season 3 raid is called Manaforge Omega. It will feature 8 bosses in total. Here you can take a look at the full list of Manaforge Omega bosses:

- Dimensius, the All-Devouring.
📌 Manaforge Omega will be the final raid of The War Within expansion.
The War Within Season 3 Renown
Another new thing coming with 11.2 is the raid Renown track for Manaforge Omega called Manaforge Vandals. It features 15 total ranks and provides various rewards for killing raid bosses, the same way the Liberation of Undermine renown works. However, the associated raid buff caps at 15% damage, making it a more limited progression system compared to previous tracks. The War Within Season 3 Legendary Cloak
Reshii Wraps is a special cloak introduced in Season 3. It grants players unique movement and interaction abilities within certain areas of the game. For example, in the Manaforge Omega raid, the cloak is required to transform into energy, allowing players to travel through pipes and access the raid’s interior.
Reshii Wraps are also used to interact with specific mechanics and bosses during the raid, making this cloak mandatory for progression. This is similar to the BFA cloak during the Ny‘alotha, the Waking City raid tier, which was mandatory for certain encounters. Season 3 cloak is also used for outdoor activities in the new area, as well as in the new Delve.
The War Within Season 3 New Delve
Season 3 introduces a new Delve located within the Azure Vaults on the Dragon Isles, making it the first Delve outside of the War Within zones. This delve is called Archival Assault and features ethereals, pirates, and brokers plundering the area, offering players a mix of combat and exploration.
The legendary cloak will be used in this Delve as well. Using Reshii Wraps, players can access challenge gateways that lead to bosses or special rooms, adding variety to each run.
The season’s Delve storyline also continues unfinished business with Nexus-Princess Ky’veza from the main TWW story. Players will face her in a solo boss fight, similar to the Underpin from the previous season.
The War Within Season 3 New PvP Zone
Players are also getting some new The War Within Season 3 PvP content in the form of the Vanquisher’s Wake. This island is designed for open-world PvP encounters. Simply turn on the War Mode and join the battle!
There is a ton of new stuff coming with the launch of TWW Season 3 and in patch 11.2. We will be covering all of it in even more detail here at Overgear as soon as more information becomes available. Stay updated on the latest news and updates with us!
