World of Warcraft The War Within Patch 11.1.7 Legacy of Arathor is a new mini-patch that is set for release on June 17th, 2025. Though the patch is not as big as its predecessor, WoW Patch 11.1.5, it is still full of new, fascinating content.
The new patch will bring a lot of new features to explore, but it doesn’t mean that you should forget about one of the best things in WoW — Keystone Hero achievement. While there’s time before Season 3 kicks off, you have a perfect chance to become a hero, get valuable rewards, and skyrocket your Mythic+ score.

After the showdown with Xal’atath, things heat up in Arathi Highlands, where tensions rise once more. But that’s just the start. Patch 11.1.7 Legacy of Arathor introduces new content across delves, Timewalking, lore, and collectibles.
WoW Arathi Highlands Mini-Storyline
In a short but nostalgic WoW The War Within Arathi Highlands questline (~30 minutes), we will join Faerin Lothar and Danath Trollbane to ease the escalating tensions between Horde and Alliance in Arathi Highlands.

As for the rewards, Alliance players will get Stromgarde Tabard, and Horde players will receive Hammerfall Tabard. Additionally, Lamplighter’s Pauldrons will also be a part of the rewards pool.
WoW Lorewalking Stories
WoW Lorewalking is a new leveling mode that retells key World of Warcraft stories. Each story rewards a toy – Echo of Xal’atath, Blade of the Black Empire, K’aresh Memory Crystal, or Royal Visage, depending on the stories picked. Currently available stories are:
- Xal’atath
- Ethereals
- The Lich King

WoW Overcharged Delves
WoW Overcharged Delves are enhanced versions of existing delves powered by Titan energy. In Patch 11.1.7 they will feature tougher enemies and a new progression system tied to the Overcharged Titan Console. Here’s a list of WoW Delves that will become overcharged:

Overcharged Titan Console Power Tree
There is also a new item in the Legacy of Arathor patch, similar to Cyrce’s Circlet: Durable Information Securing Container Belt. This belt starts from item level 678 and will increase to 694 item level over time. These upgrades are tied to the Overcharged Titan Console power tree, and you will need to take part in Overcharged Delves to unlock this progression.

Overcharged Delves Achievements

There is a new mount for WoW Turbulent Timeways event completion: Chrono Corsair. Old event mounts, e.g., Sandy Shalewing and Timely Buzzbee will be available on any timewalking vendor for 5000 Timewarped Badges.

Patch 11.1.7 Turbulent Timeways Rewards

WoW Diablo IV Collab Event
In addition to Turbulent Timeways, The War Within Patch 11.1.7 will bring a Diablo IV collab event called Greedy Emissary. A random portal will appear in a major city, and a treasure Goblins will spawn, dropping:
Players should hunt this goblin to loot the Hellstone Shard currency and/or Hellcaller Chest. This event will bring recolors of Tier 2 sets (the ones we got with 20th Anniversary events) and a mount (probably a recolor of Tyrael’s Charger). So, the WoW TWW Greedy Emissary event loot includes:
- Recolored Tier 2 sets
- Recolored Tyrael’s Charger
- Some of the returning Diablo items

WoW Global Buff Event
The War Within Collector’s Bounty Event is a really useful event that will provide a global buff. This global buff increases legacy loot drop chances — perfect time for farming rare transmogs and mounts in Legacy content.
