Spreading Player Housing across too many zones could thin out the population, making it harder to see and interact with fellow players. Creating well-modeled zones also takes a lot of time and team resources, so the developers prefer to start off with a few well-crafted, recognizable zones.
WoW Horde Neighborhood
Razorwind Shores is the Horde Neighborhood in WoW. It has a traditional Horde look that’s been mixed with some new coastal elements. This zone combines the coastal cliffs of Durotar, the natural elements of Azshara, with some Forsaken-inspired darkness, so players now have some diversity with which to work.
There are 8 flight points in the Razorwind Shores that allow easier traveling around the map. Also, there’s a portal to Orgrimmar, located in the middle of the map, North to the majority of the plots.
WoW Alliance Neighborhood
A neighborhood on the Alliance side is called Founder’s Point. It is all about warm, familiar biomes that reflect Elwynn Forest, Westfall, as well as the darker fringes of Duskwood. However, the largest difference occurs in capacity, as Charter Neighborhoods hold only 55 plots compared to the ability of Guild Neighborhoods that use additional instances so that every member of the guild, regardless of guild size, is given a home.
WoW Public and Private Neighborhoods
With the ability to host multiple neighborhoods within a zone, each WoW neighborhood can contain 55 housing units. Players can choose between two types.
