Eco-Dome Al’dani Overview

Eco-Dome Al’dani Guide

WoW Eco-Dome Al’dani is a new dungeon in The War Within Season 3. Built as a controlled habitat by the ethereals, it was meant to protect rare plants and creatures. Over the years, the dome has broken down, and what was once a safe place has turned into a threat. Players entering the dome will deal with unstable growth, roaming creatures, and energy surges that make each run unpredictable.

Inside, the bosses use the environment against players, mixing natural hazards with void powers. Defeating them provides gear useful for Season 3 progression, along with dungeon achievements. Eco-Dome Al’dani is also part of the Mythic+ pool, making it an important dungeon for players looking to push keys and improve their characters.

How to Get into Eco-Dome Al’dani

The entrance to Eco-Dome Al’dani can be found in Tazavesh, the main hub introduced in Patch 11.2. Players can easily reach it by using the nearby flight point, which drops you just a short walk from the dungeon’s portal.

Eco-Dome Al’dani Map

Eco-Dome Al’dani Guide

The Eco-Dome Al’dani map has a simple layout and path through the dungeon. You start by fighting Azhiccar, then move into the center of the dome to find Taah’bat and A’wazj, and then head to the final boss, Soul-Scribe.

📌 Two Waystones serve as checkpoints along the way: one after Azhiccar and another after Taah’bat, with players always respawning at the most recent one unlocked.

Eco-Dome Al’dani Route

Eco-Dome Al’dani Guide

Planning an efficient route through Eco-Dome Al’dani is important, especially for Mythic+ runs. The dungeon layout allows some flexibility, but trash pulls, patrols, and boss order can impact both time and difficulty. A clear route helps groups avoid unnecessary mobs and stay on pace for completing the dungeon within the timer. Want to learn Eco-Dome routing in a group of great players without stress? Eco-Dome Al’dani Bosses

The War Within Eco-Dome Al’dani features a lineup of 3 bosses that draw power from the dome’s unstable environment. Each encounter introduces mechanics tied to natural hazards and void energy, requiring groups to adapt to shifting conditions inside the biodome. Defeating these bosses is key to progressing through the dungeon and earning Season 3 rewards.

Azhiccar

Eco-Dome Al’dani Guide

The fight alternates between two phases: a boss phase and an add phase. Tanks should always stay in melee range of Azhiccar during the boss phase to prevent Thrash from triggering.

Boss Phase

  • Twice each phase, Azhiccar casts Invading Shriek, which deals group damage and summons 6 Frenzied Mites.
  • These adds target random players and gain a stacking 10% damage increase whenever they use Engorge. Kill them quickly before they become unmanageable.
  • To handle them efficiently, have the group stack together, bait the Mites into one spot, and use AoE stuns and cleave to burn them down.

Azhiccar also casts Toxic Regurgitation on two players, applying a Shadow DoT and creating puddles of Digestive Spittle. Place these puddles near the edges of the arena. This both saves space for add phases and slows adds if placed on their spawn points.

Add Phase

At 100 energy, Azhiccar channels Devour for 18 seconds. During this time:

  • The boss pulls players toward him, deals ticking Shadow damage, and kills anyone who gets too close.
  • He also spawns 6 Frenzied Mites that try to walk into him. If they reach the boss, he casts Feast, healing himself and gaining a stacking damage buff.

📌 Use slows, knockbacks, and CC to keep the Mites away until they are dead. All 6 must be killed before the channel ends, or the boss will Feast on any remaining.

After Devour ends, all Digestive Spittle puddles will disappear, and the cycle will repeat again. During this phase, Azhiccar will not use melee or Thrash. This gives tanks the chance to help control and kill the adds.

Taah’bat and A’wazj

Eco-Dome Al’dani Guide

This fight alternates between fighting A’wazj directly and fighting Taah’bat after he dismounts. The bosses share health through Beastmaster’s Bond, so efficient cleave is important.

Phase 1

  • The boss will throw Binding Javelins at 2 random players. This creates an 8-yard AoE. Anyone inside said AoE will be tethered to the spears. You need to place these circles in a Venn diagram shape, then drag the boss between them to cleave the spears and free players quickly.
  • A’wazj dashes at a random player after a short delay with a Warp Strike, leaving a stacking DoT on anyone in the path. Getting this while tethered is dangerous, so use defensives if needed.
  • The main tank mechanic here is Rift Claws. This is a large arcane hit followed by a bleed.

At 100 energy, A’wazj begins Arcane Blitz, starting Phase 2.

Phase 2

A’wazj becomes unattackable and spams Warp Strike. Taah’bat applies ticking group damage with Arcane Overload. Taah’bat will also be immune to damage thanks to Incorporeal, which must be removed by redirecting Warp Strike into him. Six hits are required to break the shield.

📌 Players targeted by Warp Strike should line it up to pass through Taah’bat and avoid allies. Use defensives if you get multiple stacks of the DoT.

Once Incorporeal is broken, both bosses are stunned for 15 seconds. This is the burn phase, as they share health and take cleave damage. After the stun ends, Taah’bat remounts A’wazj, and Phase 1 begins again.

Soul-Scribe

Eco-Dome Al’dani Guide

The Soul-Scribe fight is all about managing echoes of your character. Collecting your echoes grants a stacking Fatebound buff. If you cannot collect them in time and they get destroyed, it will apply the Wounded Fate debuff to you. Here are the main mechanics of this fight:

  • Whispers of Fate: Damages all players and creates one echo of each player in the room. Run over your echo to gain Fatebound. If an ability hits it first, you receive Wounded Fate instead.
  • Ceremonial Dagger: Targets all 5 echoes with line attacks that fire after 5 seconds. This is the easiest ability to handle. Locate your echo and collect it before the daggers go off.
  • Dread of the Unknown: Places a 9-yard AoE around each player that explodes after 4 seconds. Grab your echo quickly, then spread out to avoid cleaving allies.

📌 At 100 energy, the boss casts Eternal Weave, creating 3 echoes of every player. She also fires rotating cones of arcane energy every 6 seconds for 24 seconds.

  • For maximum stacks of Fatebound, you can time echo pickups right before a cone destroys them.
  • For safety, grab your echoes as soon as possible to avoid losing them.

Throughout the fight, Echoes of Fate constantly ticks group damage, which requires a lot of healing.
