What is Salvation's Edge Light Level?

The Final Shape Expansion has brought us new level caps, and the requirement to start Salvation's Edge Raid is 1965. It's recommended to elevate your power level by engaging in other activities and securing more powerful equipment before diving into this Raid, as the higher your Light Level is, the easier it will be to successfully finish the Raid. The other requirements to start the Raid, that must be met by the leader of your fireteam are:
Completing The Final Shape campaign (Legendary difficulty recommended);
Completing the Wild Card Exotic quest.

What will be Salvation's Edge armor?

Salvation's Edge Raid will have a new set of armor for each class. It will have a unique appearance and set of perks that are particularly useful for fighting the raid's enemies and bosses. The full armor set includes pieces for each slot and has a maximum power level of 2000, making it a highly sought-after set for endgame players.

What is the Salvation's Edge?

Salvation's Edge is a new raid activity in Destiny 2. It is supposed to finally conclude the battle between Light and Darkness, as a team of Guardians will face The Witness himself — their most challenging and infamous enemy yet. Completing this Raid and defeating The Witness will require a deep understanding of raid mechanics, a proper fireteam, and a powerful set of gear. On the good side, being a pinnacle activity, this Raid will have tons of potent and exclusive rewards, such as highly effective weapons and high-stat armor. Moreover, during the Raid, you will have a chance to get a new Exotic Weapon — Euphony Linear Fusion Rifle.

Is Salvation's Edge free?

What planet is Salvation's Edge?

For now there is not much info on where the Raid will take place, but the final battle against The Witness might happen in the Pale Heart inside the Traveller, or somewhere near the Veil.
