Every armor drop now comes with a fixed Tier from 1 to 5. Higher Tiers mean better stat rolls and additional perks like extra mod slots or tuned stats. Here’s what each Tier offers:

Armor Archetypes
Every piece of armor now has a fixed Archetype that guarantees two strong stats. Primary Stats can roll 30+, Secondary Stats up to 25+, and a Tertiary Stat is selected randomly. Here are the Archetypes you can choose:

⚖️ New Armor Stats & Masterworking
Armor 3.0 replaces the old stat system with six new ones that scale linearly up to 200 points. Bonus effects kick in after 100, and there are no more tier thresholds.
Weapons = Reload, Handling, PvE Damage
Health = Flinch resistance, shield regen
Class = Class ability cooldown, overshield gain
Super = Energy regen, super damage boost
Grenade = Cooldown and grenade damage
Melee = Cooldown and melee damage
Masterworking gives +1 to your three lowest stats per level, up to +5 total. The higher the Tier, the more expensive it is to Masterwork — but the payoff is huge.
