Turbo Boost Event Season 3 Updates
Overall, the WoW Turbo Boost event hasn’t seen any major changes in Season 3. Most of the updates are tied to the release of the new Manaforge Omega raid, which brings refreshed quests, updated vendor loot tables, and a few smaller tweaks. Still, there are some nice bonuses added in TWW Turbo Boost Event Season 3:
- Warband Gear now drops at a higher rate in Mythic+;
- Catalyst Charges can be earned from Mythic+ dungeons, Manaforge Omega, Delves, and rated PvP.
How to Earn Puzzling Cartel Chips
With the beginning of the Turbo Boost Event in WoW in Season 3, you will get access to two new weekly quests:
- Turbo-Boost: Trade Must Flow — defeat 4 Raid Bosses from the Manaforge Omega Raid on Normal difficulty or higher, or complete 4 Mythic+ dungeons.
- Turbo-Boost: Infinite Growth.
📌 Turbo-Boost: Infinite Growth is a weekly quests that drops after you complete Turbo-Boost: Trade Must Flow.
Completing Turbo-Boost: Trade Must Flow rewards you with 3 Puzzling Cartel Chips. Turbo Boost: Infinite Growth weekly quest rewards you with 1 Puzzling Cartel Chip. Only 9 Puzzling Cartel Chips can be earned per character during the event, meaning that you can buy up to 3 items from the event vendor.
The system is pretty flexible and adjusts to your playstyle. If you like raids — go on and raid; if you prefer M+ — queue for a dungeon. Anyway, you can choose whatever you like and enjoy it while also completing the quest. This is also possible with our Manaforge Omega Heroic Battle Pass, which allows you to complete the raid every week without any effort.
Turbo Boost Event Vendor

In WoW Puzzling Cartel Chips are used to buy items from Fixer So’kir and Fixer So’tho, Turbo Boost event vendors located in Dornogal at /way 52.0, 46.0. You can go in the Great Vault direction to easily find these vendors. The gear sold by Fixer So’kir and Fixer So’tho costs 3 Puzzling Cartel Chips apiece.
Turbo Boost Event Gear
During the Turbo Boost Event in WoW TWW you will be able to get gear pieces either from the Manaforge Omega raid or the Mythic+ gear. Each item costs 3 Puzzling Cartel Chips.
Turbo Boost Gear Requirements
Even though the Turbo Boost event in WoW TWW Season 3 is aimed at easing the process of gearing for your Warband, it still has some requirements that you have to meet to buy items of a certain rarity from Fixer So’kir and Fixer So’tho:
- Hero-Track Raid Gear → at least one kill of a raid boss on Normal+ difficulty;
- Myth-Track Raid Gear → at least one kill of the required boss on Mythic difficulty;
- Mythic+ Trinkets → Hero-track version available;
- Myth-Track dungeon Trinkets → all Season 3 Mythic+ dungeons timed on Keystone Level 12 or above.
These requirements ensure that each player is eligible for items that correspond with their in-game M+ and Raid progression. Therefore, our best advice is to save up your Puzzling Cartel Chips if you plan to deal with a higher raid tier or Mythic+ key during the time of the event.

Turbo Boost Item Upgrade Tracks
The Turbo Boost event in TWW Season 3 is not only a chance to get new gear, but also to upgrade your items significantly. Both Heroic and Mythic gear tracks now have two more upgrade tracks, increased from 6 to 8.
Item Upgrade Currency Changes
We received two major updates to the WoW The War Within currency that is used to upgrade items at the beginning of the Turbo Boost event:
- No cap on Ethereal Crests;
- Valorstones become Warbound.
If you need extra Valorstones, do not grind; ask our professional players to deal with this tedious task for you.
📌 Transfered Valorstones have a 25% tax, which means that if you are to transfer 100 Valorstones to one of your Warband characters, they will only receive 75 of it.
Turbo Boost Delve Changes
In a nutshell, Delves are now easier to complete, and the rewards are also better. Due to the Turbo Boost release in WoW, Delves received their fair share of changes and tunings, and now you can experience the following improvements:
- Delver’s Journey progress earned per week is increased, and now the chests at the end of each run provide even more profit;
- Delves of any tier now grant more Crests and Valorstones;
- You can loot Warbound Champion 1/8 Gear at Tier 9;
- Trade Untainted Mana-Crystals from Bountiful Coffers at Tier 9 for Hero-track Delve Trinkets.
All in all, Delves were and continue to be one of the most popular gearing instances, and now with the latest improvements, they have become an even better place to receive some new gear pieces. If you are not a fan of Delves or just don’t feel like dealing with it, get Delves Bundle and enjoy the results.
Turbo Boost Crafted Gear Updates
Turbo Boost is all about gearing and upgrading gear, so the crafting system in WoW also receives some essential changes. Now, when you craft items using Spark of Starlight, you can recraft them (also using Augmentation Matrix) and upgrade up to 6 ilvls.
✏️ You can get Augmentation Matrix from Llande or Syenite in Dornogal.
| Augmentation Matrix | Item Level Increase | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Runed Augmentation Matrix | +3 | 15 Runed Undermine Crest |
| Gilded Augmentation Matrix | +6 | 30 Gilded Undermine Crest |
All in all, WoW Turbo Boost event is a great opportunity to buff your Warband and get high-tier gear pieces, especially if your main character has already reached higher raid difficulty and 12+ Keystone for M+. Try your best, earn Puzzling Cartel Chips to buy gear, upgrade it, and start preparing yourself for new adventures!
