Greetings, traveler! The new Patch has been released on June 26th. Overgear decided to take advantage of this opportunity and tell you everything we know about this new part of the World of Warcraft story. This Patch has brought us two large zones to explore, two new instances, the continuation of the War Campaign, even more Mounts to ride on, new Battle Pets, Toys, Heritage Armor for Taurens and Gnomes, new PvP season and many many more new small and big things to learn, find, and obtain. In this text, we will summarize several topics that are especially interesting for the collectors of Azeroth. Also, we will try to analyze time costs for the new items, where possible. You’re welcome!
As always, there are a lot of ways to improve your character’s equipment. Raids, mythic+ crafts and new gear from Nazjatar – Benthic armor.
This will be the fourth Raid of Battle for Azeroth that will open a couple of weeks after the Rise of Azshara patch goes live. There will be eight bosses total with the Queen Azshara herself as the last one. All bosses have the same base item level loot. As usual, Azerite Armor cannot Warforge and Titanforge and weapons cannot Titanforge.
- 400 ILvl for the LFR difficulty;
- 415 ILvl for Normal;
- 430 ILvl for Heroic;
- 445 ILvl for Mythic.
If you want to defeat all bosses and grab lots of loot without many wipes, then Overgear might have a solution. At the beginning, it will be almost impossible to clear up all dungeon with raid from LFG. Even very experienced guilds might have some problems. So, if you are a single player and you would like to have new raid gear without spending huge amount of time and nerves, buying a run through the raid is a good decision.
The Raid is mostly linear, except for the second and third bosses which can be done in any order:
- 1st Boss – Abyssal Commander Sivara;
- 2nd or 3rd Boss – Blackwater Behemoth;
- 2nd or 3rd Boss – Radiance of Azshara;
- 4th Boss – Lady Ashvane;
- 5th Boss – Orgozoa;
- 6th Boss – Silivaz the Zealous;
- 7th Boss – Za’qul;
- 8th Boss – Queen Azshara.
It is already a tradition for any new raid to have a new Glory of the Raider achievement. And a new mount as a reward. Glory of the Eternal Raider is not an exception here – just look at this Yellow Fathom Ray. You can combine business with pleasure just by buying Glory of the Eternal Raider at Overgear. You can receive not just an achievement and mount, but also a 415 or higher ilvl loot and pets.
The new Season 3 Beguiling Affix will replace the previous Reaping Affix in Patch 8.2. The Beguiling Affix represents the minions of Queen Azshara invading the dungeons of Kul Tiras and Zandalar. There are three types of handmaidens that will be present in a variety of pulls in different configurations from week to week. They are:
You may find all the information about this Affix in our special overview, so you are ready when the new Patch releases.
Max ilvl from 10+ key is 430. Weekly chest can offer you 440+ ilvl items, which is only 5 ilvl less than the mythic Eternal Palace. Unfortunately, all dungeons were buffed around 30%. If you have some problems with mythic+ or low RIO, you may find some help here.
Did you miss instances such as Karazhan in Legion? Here it is – Operation: Mechagon. This instance will be the biggest 5ppl dungeon in Battle for Azeroth expansion.
Bigger dungeon – better loot? Yep, it is. Operation: Mechagon can offer 415 loot and one 430 item if you are at hardmode. This is a very difficult dungeon, especially the last fight at Hardmode. If you are not ready to spend a lot of time at Operation: Mechagon, please check these offers.
Nazjatar Benthic Gear
This is a good source to fill up your bad slots with 425 gear from Nazjatar, or even 430 if we talk about Azerite armor. You can recieve benthic tokens from quests, rare mobs and treasure chests, or buy it from vendor. You will need lots of Prismatic manapearls, and it requires lots of days to grade benthic gear to max ilvl. The saddest thing here, is that you need to spend lots of time in Nazjatar during a day to kill all rares and maximize you daily drop of Prismatic manapearls. That’s why Overgear can give you a hand and take care of your character, while you’re doing your own stuff during the day.
There is also an opportunity to become stronger with your craft professions. Release of the new raid always means the appearance of new recipes. To unlock the first recipes, you will need to complete introduction quests at Nazjatar and spend 75 Prismatic manapearls. After that you will be able to create 415 items. To upgrade them you will need more. As usual, there are ingredients dropped by bosses of the Eternal Palace. The amount depends on raid difficulty.
The changes in the upcoming Patch are really great, so let us begin with the new Mount system and the new Mounts available. There are approximately thirty new Mounts waiting for collectors – that’s quite a lot of work to do! What mount might interest you the most? Here they are.
This Mechanical Parrot will be given as a reward for completing the Achievement Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part Two. The requirements for this Achievement are similar to the ones we had in Legion. The matching mechanical pet, Feathers, is available from a special 8.1.5 Questline for those who are interested. Players will be given an opportunity to fly across all the Battle for Azeroth zones, including the new ones Nazjatar and Mechagon. The estimated time to get this Mount is about two weeks after the Patch launches.
The Aerial Unit R-21/X is a drop from the King Mechagon – the last of eight bosses in the new Operation: Mechagon Dungeon. It appears this one will have an interesting Mount Special – a cannon that pops out from underneath.
The Rustbolt Resistor is a new Rustbolt Resistance faction Mount in Mechagon zone. One should have an exalted reputation status with this faction, visit Stolen Royal Vendorbot vendor, and pay 524288 Gold to get it. This is a flying Mount.
Players may get the Ankoan Waveray after raising the exalted reputation status with a new faction, loyal to the Alliance, known as Ankoan. This is a flying Mount.
The Unshackled Waveray is a Horde variant of a previous Mount. Players may get it after raising the exalted reputation status with a new Unshackled faction. This is a flying Mount as well.
Overgear has collected all the possible information about 8.2 mounts; feel free to read our huge overview.
We can finally reach the skies in Battle for Azeroth, even in new locations, such as Nazjatar and Mechagon. So what needs to be done?
- Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part One
- Explore Mechagon
- Explore Nazjatar
- Rusbolt Resistance (Revered)
- The Unshackled (Revered) for Horde
- Waveblade Ankoan (Revered) for Alliance
Exploring part won’t take long, but it is not the same with reputation farm. To reach Revered with each faction takes 2 hours per day of questing. You can haste this process by increasing time spent at these locations and trying to catch more rares and chests. But still it will take more than 1 week. If you are not ready to waste so much time on this content but want to fly – Overgear might have a solution for you.
This is a new talent system Heart of Azeroth. The main thing here is that you can tune your character the way you like to make it stronger in each situation. But to have a choice you should work hard. To unlock each new essence it is necessary to do some special things in different types of game content. For example, to unlock Worldvein Resonance you should do island expeditions and collect 36k of Azerite.
But that’s not all. Each Essence has levels of upgrades. 1st – is a basic Essence and the 2nd and 3rd levels will increase the power of their effects. The 4th is just a cosmetic change of essence usage.
There are 11 types of content where you can be rewarded with a new Essence for Heart of Azeroth, including mythic+, rated pvp, honor farm, Eternal Palace, quests, reputation, Azerite farm, expeditions and Operation: Mechagon.
If some type of this content doesn’t suit you, but the Essence from it BiS for your character, it is always possible to find an interesting offer at Overgear.
As in previous seasons, your reward will depend on your personal rating.
|Tier||Rating||End of Match iLvl||Weekly cache iLvl||Weekly Azerite item iLvl|
|Unranked||0 – 1399||400||415||415|
|Combatant||1400 – 1599||410||425||415|
|Challenger||1600 – 1799||420||430||430|
|Rival||1800 – 2099||425||435||430|
|Duelist||2100 – 2399||430||440||445|
Rated PvP has always been about teamplay. You can be the god versus other players, but there is no solo rated games, that’s why you need powerful teammates. You can try to train with friends, find someone in game, or contact with some sellers of Overgear. On our marketplace there a lot of experienced PVP players that can offer your services to you, like mercenary gladiators.
After reaching level 120, all Tauren and Gnomes will be able to receive their Heritage Armor sets by completing a special Questline. The process resembles the one from the Patch 8.1 where all Blood Elves and Dwarfs were able to get their unique Heritage Armor sets as well. Several conditions must be met beforehand and they are:
- A Player must have the Exalted reputation status with Gnomeregan or Thunder Bluff respectively;
- The War Campaign quest Stay of Execution must be completed on any character regardless of faction;
- Pay a visit to the embassy in Orgrimmar or Stormwind after the 8.2 Patch Rise of Azshara arrives.
