Timewalking dungeon event that took place in Spring is coming back soon! It’s a good way to get some good actual gear, and rare mounts from previous expansions. In this guide, we want to tell you about the upcoming Timewalking Dungeon Event, what rewards you can get during this event and where to find vendors of each Timewalking Dungeon Event.

Maybe you have any unfinished achievements from the past? It’s also a good way to complete them during this event.
What is a Timewalking Dungeon Event?
Timewalking dungeon event is a unique way to queue up for old dungeons from the themed expansions. Your characters level 50 and higher get access to a special Timewalking Dungeon Event finder queue. The power of your character will be scaled down to revisit the dungeons of the themed expansion.
By completing these dungeons and killing bosses of these dungeons, you’ll get actual loot, fashionable transmogs, and special Timewalking Badges, called Timewarped Bagde, which you can spend at special vendors which are different from one themed event to another.
From Timewalking vendors, you can get: mounts for 5000 badges, toys for 500 badges, upgrades for your heirlooms, which will cost you from 750 to 1200 badges depending on the level of upgrade you need, some low-level items, which will cost you from 35 badges to 100 badges, and some other stuff, which you can check at themed vendors.
How do you get Timewarped Badges in WoW?
To obtain the time warp badges, you can:
- Kill the boss — 5
- Kill the last boss of the dungeon — 10
- Complete a dungeon — 10
- Call to Arms — 50
- Compete weekly event quest, which drops from the last boss of the dungeon — 500
Also, when the event starts, you’ll gain a 50% increased reputation rate from killing monsters and completing quests with the themed expansion factions.
You have a small chance to get Reins of the Infinite Timereaver mount from any boss.
Turbulent Timewalking event
In patch 10.1.7 was introduced the return of the Turbulent Timewalking event. It is the world event where players have access to the Timewalking dungeons and raids for 5 consecutive weeks (1 expansion per week).
There will be a new experience buff, attached to the event, Knowledge of Timeways which is granted by using Distilled Knowledge of Timeways.
This item grants you a 2% experience buff from killing monsters and completing quests. Using this item several times will have a stacking effect. Completing a dungeon will prolong this effect for 60 minutes up to 5 hours. Earning 10 stacks of Knowledge of Timeways will give you the Master of Timeways buff, which will have the effect of 30% experience gain from killing monsters and completing quests also can be prolonged by completing timewalk dungeons.
Also, a new achievement has been added. Master of Turbulent Timeways requires you to stack Mastery of Timeways buff for all 5 weeks of the event. Completing this task, you’ll get Sandy Shalewing mount.
Of course, in addition for a limited time, the Timewalking quest in Valdrakken from Kazra will offer an increased reward—a Heroic level Cache of Vault Treasures with items level 415-424. The reward upgrade is only available for this special Timewalking event. After Turbulent Timewalking has run its course, the reward returns to ilvl 389 Cache of Vault Treasures.
