Herbalism profession remains an essential gathering skill for players wishing to supply main resources for Alchemy, Inscription, and numerous crafting professions in The War Within. The War Within Herbalism Leveling

Similar in structure to how the process works in Dragonflight, Leveling Herbalism in The War Within sees herb versions continuing to provide consistent skill-up opportunities. You can level up your Khaz Algar Herbalism each time you gather any type of herb as well as its modified versions, by the zones.

You can use the Phial of Truesight to find Camouflaged herb nodes, gathering this node to level up. On top of that, if you are a dual gatherer with Mining you will also be able to see Camouflaged mining nodes.

Here’s how the leveling scales for different herb types:

• Mycobloom (unmodified): Skill levels 15, 22, 30;
• All other unmodified herbs: Skill levels 30, 45, 60;
• All modified herbs (Altered, Crystallized, Camouflaged, etc.): Skill levels 60, 80, 100.

However, it’s important not to neglect the lower quality herbs, such as Mycobloom. These may seem less valuable, but they are good for node turnover, and you can still get Knowledge Point items from them just as you can from higher-level herbs. Therefore, you should pick as many herbs as possible to get the most skill boosts and opportunities.

Overloading the Underground —  Specialize in gathering empowered herbs and Overloading them to various effects.

• Rank 0: Learn how to Overload Empowered Herb, an ability that allows you to channel energy into empowered herbs for unique bonuses and effects if you don’t know how to already. In addition, the cooldown of this ability is reduced whenever you gather herbs on Khaz Algar.
• Rank 5: Learn a sub-specialization of your choice.
• Rank 10: The amount of Overload Empowered Herb cooldown refunded by gathering herbs is increased by a small amount.
• Rank 15: Learn a sub-specialization of your choice.
• Rank 20: The amount of Overload cooldown refunded by gathering herbs is increased by a small amount.
• Rank 25: Learn a sub-specialization of your choice.
• Rank 30: The amount of Overload cooldown refunded by gathering herbs is increased by a small amount.
• Rank 35: Learn the final sub-specialization.
• Rank 40: You gain an additional charge of Overload Empowered Herb.

When you gather herbs you can find Khaz Algar Knowledge Points, which you can spend on specializations. There are two kinds of treasures: weekly and one-time use. The Weekly are:

• Deepgrove Roots or Deepgrove Petal increases Khaz Algar Mining Herbalism Knowledge by 1.
• Deepgrove Rose increases Khaz Algar Mining Herbalism Knowledge by 3.
