You gain a way to strike targets hidden in the Aln, but if too many manifestations break into reality and reach Chimaerus, the fight gets rough in a hurry.
At 100 energy, Chimaerus gets in the air and begins bombarding the raid as additional enemies are spilling into the arena. Then it crashes back down with Ravenous Dive, trying to gobble up what is remaining and power itself up. So the entire encounter is like a control check first and a survival check when the pacing picks up.
