Flame-Blessed Iron Overview
Flame-Blessed Iron is a new currency introduced in the recent Patch 11.0.7 of World of Warcraft, mainly associated with activities on Siren Isle. Getting the currency is one of the major ways to obtain rewards in the form of gear, mounts, transmogs, and toys. Our team is also prepared for this adventure, and we can supply you with the required amount of Flame-Blessed Iron.
How to Get Flame-Blessed Iron
Siren Isle is a new TWW zone, where the major events related to obtaining Flame-Blessed Iron will take place. So prior to the farming Flame-Blessed Iron, make sure to pick up and complete a short quest chain called The Expedition Awaits. You need to look for Dawn in the Foundation Hall in Dornogal to start this quest. Then, when you find a way to get to the Siren Isle, you’ll be able to start earning the coveted currency.
There are several sources of Flame-Blessed Iron:
- Common mobs;
- Elite mobs;
- Rare mobs;
- Treasure Chests;
- Major Excavation Events (Boss Drops);
- Daily Quests in Siren Isle Zone.
Siren Isle Mobs
Traveling around the Isle will eventually lead you to hundreds of encounters with various mobs. An average mob like Bloodbrine Horror will drop around 1-5 Flame-Blessed Iron. This is not much, but the more you slay the more you get. Another option is Elite or Rare mobs:
- Elite Mobs drop 5-25 Flame-Blessed Iron;
- Rare Mobs can bring up to 100-150 Flame-Blessed Iron.
These types of mobs can become your primary target, as they will help you to kill two Murlocs with one stone: you’ll farm Flame-Blessed Iron really quickly and will get a chance to complete the Clean Up on Isle Siren achievement, which requires defeating all of the rare creatures found on the Siren Isle:
✏️ Tip: Do not skip these Rares. The achievement is worth unlocking as it’ll get you closer to the Isle Remember You meta-achievement and its awesome rewards.
If you want to save time and skip all the boring activities like farming mobs, you can focus on the Isle Remember You achievement with the The Breaker’s Song mount as a reward. This meta-achievement requires you to complete a variety of island activities that set an aim for you, and getting Flame-Blessed Iron will be just a side bonus. Or just ask our pro team to take care of this task.
Treasure Chests
Hunting for Treasure Chests will not leave you empty-handed. Runed Storm Caches will grant you a variety of valuable rewards, including 25-75 Flame-Blessed Iron.
✏️ Tip: Treasure Chests are also linked to a new Siren Isle achievement — Treasures of the Storm, a part of the initial meta-achievement. Look for caches!
Island Events Boss Drops
Another fun activity that can reward you with a fair share of the Flame Blessed Iron is the Excavations, or Major Excavation, to be precise. When you complete the Major Excavation event requirements, a powerful Boss will be summoned. Taking this Boss down will reward you with approximately 150 Flame Blessed Iron + extra prizes from the faction you’ve contributed to during the event.
📌 Note: We’ve described the details of this event in our Siren Isle Guide, so it’s worth reading.
Daily Quests
Just like any other zone, Siren Isle offers players Daily Quests, which are aimed at earning unique currency and other cool zone-specific rewards. Quests will reward you with 200 Flame Blessed Iron, which is a pretty decent amount.
Where to Use Flame-Blessed Iron
Now that you have some amount of Flame Blessed Iron accumulated, you begin to wonder “What to spend Flame-Blessed Iron on?” There are several options available:
- Contributing to Excavation Events — contributing the currency to one of the teams will allow you to progress through the event and summon the Boss;
- Obtaining Catch-Up Gear — you’ll be able to buy Veteran armor with 548 ilvl;
