What is Mist of Pandaria Remix?
WoW Remix Pandaria is a limited-time special event that brings adventurers to the world of the Mists of Pandaria expansion at a faster pace. You will create new Timerunning characters starting at Level 10 and progressing to Level 70. WoW Remix Pandaria provides you with redesigned loot to improve your gameplay.
Pandaria Remix Requirements
To participate in the event you only need an active World of Warcraft subscription. Trial accounts can also participate through Level 20. After that, you just can purchase a subscription to continue beyond Level 20.
WoW Pandaria Remix Release Time
The highly anticipated WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria will be available globally from May 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM PDT until August 19, 2024. Here are the launch times for players around the world:

Remix Mists of Pandaria Leveling
To create a Timerunner, select the Mists of Pandaria: Remix (MoP) on the character selection screen (button in the top left corner of the screen). New characters will be created in the main World of Warcraft realms, as there are no separate realms for Timerunning.
When starting as a Timerunner in MoP, you begin your journey at level 10 on the Timeless Isle. First, after a short introductory quest, you will receive the powerful Cloak of Infinite Potential, your main feature in this adventure. Utilizing the standard Retail WoW talents and spells, you have the freedom to shape your character’s playstyle. Then you will be sent to Pandaria.
In Pandaria during Timerunning both flying and dragonriding are accessible immediately after creating your character. You can fly in all the same zones as in the Retail version of Pandaria, which means you cannot fly on Isle of Thunder, Isle of Giants, or Timeless Isle.
As you progress through the storyline and complete various tasks, you have the chance to level up your Timerunner all the way to 70. This opens up a vast array of zones, dungeons, scenarios, and raids for you to explore and conquer. Pandaria Remix Timerunning Abilities
Your Timerunning character will gain access to two abilities: extract gems from your gear, and scrap unwanted gear for Bronze.
- Extract Gem — Extracts a gem from one of your socketed items.
- Unraveling Sands — Summon Unraveling Sands that transform your unwanted items into Bronze.
How to get Bronze in Pandaria Remix
You can obtain Bronze, the main currency in MoP Remix, in various ways by performing almost any activity during the event.
You can obtain Bronze by:
- Killing mobs and bosses;
- Completing dungeons, scenarios and raids;
- Opening treasure chests;
- Opening Cache of Infinite Treasure (reward for completing quests);
- Opening Bronze Caches: Minor Bronze Cache, Lesser Bronze Cache, Bronze Cache, Greater Bronze Cache (reward for completing daily quests and Remix achievements).
- Flying through Bronze Orbs scattered across Pandaria;
- Transforming unwanted gear with Unraveling Sands.
How to spend Bronze in Pandaria Remix
You can use Bronze to upgrade gear, and purchase cosmetics, mounts, pets, and toys. Also, you can get Remix-exclusive consumables and use it to upgrade Remix gear. To purchase any of these rewards you need to find a Timerunning NPCs in any Timerunning Bazaar. They are located in several zones across Pandaria:
- By Dawn’s Blossom inn in Jade Forest;
- By Halfhill in Vale of the Four Winds;
- By One Keg in Kun-Lai Summit;
- At the back of Niuzao Temple in Townlong Steppes;
- By the Sunset Brewgarden in Dread Wastes;
- Inside the Shrine of the Seven Stars and Shrine of the Two Moons in Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
Cloak of Infinite Potential
Your first and main advantage during WoW Remix; Mists of Pandaria event is Cloak of Infinite Potential. You will get it by completing the introductory questline. You will also collect Threads for almost any activity during the event. Each thread you add to your Cloak permanently increases one of the stats, making your character overpowered over time. You can obtain Threads by:
- Killing mobs and bosses;
- Completing dungeons, scenarios and raids;
- Opening treasure chests;
- Opening Cache of Infinite Treasure (reward for completing quests);
- Flying through Bronze Orbs scattered across Pandaria.
The bad news is that the chance of dropping threads is 60% and it is quite boring and time-consuming to farm them. The good news is that you can use our Threads of Time service and not waste your time on it.
As you level up, you will also receive better threads:
- Characters level 1 to 29 can receive Common Threads that add +1 stat to your Cloak.
- Characters level 30 to 49 can receive Uncommon Threads that add +3 stats to your Cloak.
- Characters level 50 to 64 can receive Rare Threads that add +7 stats to your Cloak.
- Characters level 65 to 70 can receive Epic Threads that add +12 stats to your Cloak.
Note: The stats on the Cloak are all account-wide for all your MoP alts.
In addition, you can collect threads by completing Infinite Power achievements. These achievements will help you unlock Pandaria cloak transmogs and allow subsequent alts to start with threads already collected. This will make leveling much easier.
The final Infinite Power XII achievement will grant you four toys. These toys randomly make to appear the wings of the Legendary cloak from the original Pandaria for 8 hours.
Remix Mists of Pandaria Gear
In MoP you can easily get the gear by various methods, but the system is quite different. The item level of your gear will increase with your current level, and you need Bronze for upgrades.
Getting the gear is about the same as getting the Bronze itself:
- Killing mobs and bosses;
- Completing dungeons, scenarios and raids;
- Opening treasure chests;
- Opening Cache of Infinite Treasure (reward for completing quests).
Some items are hidden, and you will not be able to obtain them from the loot. Amulets, rings, and trinkets can be acquired by completing the Pandaria Remix achievements.
- Timerunner’s Amulet — Complete all Pandaria raids on Normal Difficulty (Pandaria Raids);
- Timerunner’s Ring — Complete all scenarios on Heroic Difficulty (Heroic: Pandaria Scenarios);
- Timerunner’s Seal — Clear all Pandaria dungeons on Heroic Difficulty (Heroic: Pandaria Dungeons);
- Timerunner’s Beacon — Complete any of the 3 achievements with a Timerunner (Escalation).
- Timerunner’s Idol — Reach Level 70 with a Timerunner (Timerunner).
Pandaria Remix Gems
Some gear comes with empty spell sockets. So you need gems for these. In Remix Pandaria there are several types of gems you can obtain by killing mobs and bosses, opening treasure chests, and completing quests:
- Meta Gems;
- Tinker Gems;
- Cogwheel Gems;
- Prismatic Gems.
