WoW Noblegarden Activities
First and foremost, your primary activity during the WoW Easter Event will be hunting eggs in the starting zones of your faction. These are the eight event sites:
| Alliance | Horde |
|---|---|
Azure Watch on Azuremyst Isle | Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore |
Dolanaar in Teldrassil | Brill in Tirisfal Glades |
Goldshire outside Stormwind City | Falconwing Square in Eversong Woods |
Kharanos in Dun Morogh | Razor Hill in Durotar |
To be able to hunt WoW Noblegarden eggs in Teldrassil and Tirisfal Glades, you should speak to Zidormi:
- Tirisfal Glades: talk to Zidormi at 69.4, 62.8 by Ruins of Undercity in Tirisfal Glades;
- Darnassus: talk to Zidormi at 48,8, 24.4 outside Lor’danel in Darkshore.
Everything is about eggs these days, huh? Well, to add even more eggs into the discourse, get yourself one of the coolest mounts — Smoldering Egg of Millagazor! And no, you don’t have to do it yourself, our team can obtain this rare mount for you to celebrate this wonderful event.
WoW Noblegarden Egg Hunting Tips
The egg hunting during the WoW Easter Event is pretty easy, as all you gotta do is search for eggs in various places scattered around the major cities. The main difficulty, however, is that you’ll do it with hundreds of other players around you who also aim to pick eggs. Here you can find some useful tips on how to gather Brightly Colored Eggs effectively:
- Multiple players can pick 1 egg before it disappears, but it happens rather fast, so try to remember egg spawn places to be right there when the egg appears again;
- Go to locations where eggs spawn frequently, e.g. Azure Watch (Alliance) or Falconwing Square (Horde);
- Speed boosts will come in handy to swiftly travel between egg spawning points.
You can open eggs during your hunt to get Noblegarden Chocolate or Brightly Colored Shell Fragment. The best strategy for WoW Easter Event egg hunting is to farm as many eggs as possible at once, as some eggs can drop rewards like transmog, toys, and even mounts. Therefore, it’s better to farm first, open eggs, get some loot, and spend the excess amount on rewards from vendors.

How to Complete Just a Waddle Away Quest?
One of the most exciting and rewarding quests in What the Duck? questline that you can complete during the WoW Noblegarden event is Just a Waddle Away / Just a Waddle Away. This quest is available for both Horde and Alliance players. Here’s how to complete Just a Waddle Away quest:
- Obtain Duck Potion to be able to disclose Daetan Swiftplume.
- Go to /
way 48.4, 44.0, in Durotar or / way 33.4, 71.0, in Elwynn Forest. Once you are there, use the Duck Potion and discover Daetan Swiftplume’s plot. - The druid is flying around the area in duck form, but when you use the potion, he will land. Talk to the druid and learn his plans.
- After the conversation, go to /
way 44.5, 35.2, in Durotar or / way 30.4, 91.4, in Elwynn Forest to retrieve the Golden Egg Heirloom from next to Daetan’s nest.
When you return to Sylnaria Fareflame or Zinnia Brooks you will be able to get your reward. Completing this quest will reward you with Duck Disguiser, and a choice of 1 of Mallard Duck Disguise, White Duck Disguise, Black Duck Disguise, Brown Duck Disguise, Yellow Duck Disguise, or Pink Duck Disguise. You can pick only 1 disguise at a time, so collecting all colors will take around 6 years of participating in the WoW Easter Event.
Organizing Egg Hunts
Aside from looting eggs, you can place them! This is a fun activity that allows you to contribute to celebrations and add some customization to the annual event. To organize your own Egg Hunt you should obtain and place any of the following eggs:
- Poorly-Painted Egg costs 10 Silver. When looted, contains Poorly-Painted Egg which can be sold for 9 Silver;
- Intricately-Painted Egg costs 10 Gold. When looted, contains Intricately-Painted Egg which can be sold for 9 Gold;
- Magnificently-Painted Egg costs 1,000 Gold. When looted, contains Magnificently-Painted Egg which can be sold for 900 Gold.
The trick is that all these eggs look the same once placed on the ground. No one can tell which is the pricey one. Want to participate? Get some Gold in order not to be left empty-handed after the event ends.
📌 Note: You can carry up to 20 Poorly-Painted Egg, 5 Intricately-Painted Egg, and 1 Magnificently-Painted Egg in your bags at once.
Collecting Ji-Kun Eggs
During WoW Noblegarden Event, spoil yourself with one more uncommon egg hunt — try to gather Ji-Kun eggs! Well, while this is obviously a joke, and these eggs can not be collected, it’s still worth visiting Throne of Thunder to slay Ji-Kun with a chance to get Clutch of Ji-Kun mount.
Alternatively, you can leave this task to our professional players. They will complete the Throne of Thunder raid for you and get the coveted Clutch of Ji-Kun, which is a rare reward.
Theotar’s Egg Hunt
Another unusual way to spend festive holidays during the WoW Noblegarden event is to participate in Theotar’s Egg Hunt. To do this, you need to be a member of Venthyr Covenant (Shadowlands) and have opened up the Ember Court.
In Ember Court, pick Theotar’s Egg Basket, which will give you Theotar’s Egg Hunt. Start the Egg Hunt during the party preparation and the location of all eggs will appear on a map. All Theotar’s Egg Hunt eggs and their effects:
- Lord Garridan’s Egg — Bring it to Lord Garridan for Shell Shocked;
- Prince Renathal’s Egg — Bring it to Prince Renathal for Egg-xcellent Diplomacy;
- Temel’s Egg — Bring it to Temel for Bonus Time;
- Theotar’s Egg — Bring it to Theotar for Bonus Happiness.
WoW Noblegarden Holiday Boss
During the festive time, you will get a chance to encounter Daetan Swiftplume — a naughty druid who is not happy with the celebrations. Defeating this boss is a part of Just a Waddle Away quest in the “What the Duck?” questline. The nest of Daetan Swiftplume can be found in Elwynn Forest or Durotar. You will need a Duck Potion to make the druid land and talk to you.
Head to the location marked on the map and find an egg. You should drag it to the nest. You can do it with other players, but don’t go too fast or too far — the rope can break. Once the egg is placed in the nest, the boss will spawn. Don’t waste your time — kill it!
Your first kill will reward you with Quacked Killer achievement, but you can encounter the druid daily to get more rewards. Common rewards are Brightly Colored Egg, the Noblegarden Trinket /
This boss encounter requires lots of steps of preparation, and it can be rather boring. If you want to skip this naughty part but still get the rewards, ask our Pro Players to assist you — outline the task you want them to complete and enjoy your freshly gained rewards.
