4.9Revisited Horrific Visions Rewards
Horrific Visions are returning in WoW The War Within Patch 11.1.5 on May 20, 2025, and they bring back a reliable weekly source of gear. As you progress through the Vision and complete side objectives, you’ll earn Masks. These increase the difficulty of future runs but also scale up your rewards significantly.
The more objectives you complete and the more Masks you activate, the better the loot. Full clears with no Masks start at Champion gear, but Masked runs can push you into the Hero track. The gear that will drop is basically the Mythic Ny’alotha raid set.
Gear scales based on performance, not just participation.

Revisited Horrific Visions Warbound Gear
Once you unlock the Masked Soliloquy and Symphony of Masks achievements in Horrific Visions Revisited, you’ll be able to purchase special books that convert future Horrific Visions drops into Warband-bound gear. These books are called Warbound Purifying Kit and Enchanted Warbound Purifying Kit, and they apply to Veteran and Champion gear, respectively.

WoW Corrupted Memento Vendors
On top of armor drops that we share above, in Horrific Visions Revisited, you can buy weapons — no RNG needed. These come in fixed ilvls and are unlocked with specific achievements. The vendors cover all weapon types and offer gear for every spec.
All weapons cost 500 tokens and include everything: staves, swords, daggers, polearms, shields, off-hands — you name it. These aren’t random drops. You get exactly what you want, when you want it, assuming you’ve got the achievement and tokens. Here is a list of gear vendors:

How to Maximize Horrific Visions Gear Rewards
Here’s the WoW Horrific Visions weekly game plan if you want to farm efficiently:
- Upgrade your masks using Undermine Crests
- Run a 4 Mask and 5 Mask full clear each week on your main for two Hero-track pieces
- Use your alt or same main to do 0–3 Mask runs for crests and Champion/Veteran upgrades
- Unlock Warbound gear early to make drops account-wide — no need to refarm the same item over and over
The process is surely tedious, and requires great dedication, as any other form of gear farming. However, if you don’t want to spend time farming, contact us — we’ll assign a Pro Player who will complete any activities you want for you.
Horrific Visions Masks Crests Upgrades
With the Visions themselves, we get Horrific Vision Masks back. The Masks are used to ramp up the difficulty (and rewards). The returning Horrific Visions Masks are:

Each run also drops crests for upgrading gear in Horrific Visions Revisited. The more Masks you activate, the better the crest quality. This system lets you upgrade drops across your account, even if you don’t get a direct loot upgrade.
📌 Note: Even if you don’t need the gear, the crests are worth farming. They’re key to maxing out your Hero-track upgrades.
