What Are Hero Talents?

Midnight Hero Talents Overview

WoW Midnight Hero Talents are the third talent tree for each spec introduced in the previous expansion. In Midnight, they continue to be an integral part of standard talent builds. Hero spec trees are mostly passive, but at the same time, they provide clear enhancements. It includes extra damage, Nature and Magic bonuses, stronger spell crits, and a few situational active abilities.

Each class has three available Hero Trees (Druid has four), and each spec within the class can choose between 2 specified trees. The talent system within all Hero Trees in Midnight is the same:

  • Total Amount of Hero Trees: 40;
  • Hero Specializations Available (for one spec): 2;
  • Talent Points Available: 14;
  • Talents within one Hero Tree: 14;
  • Choice Nods within one Hero Tree: 2–4.

📌 In Midnight, every spec received the 4th string of talents.

You unlock the Hero Talent choice feature upon reaching level 71 and claim new talents at each level until level 80. If you want to reach the required level faster, ask our team for Midnight Leveling.

Midnight Hero Talents Changes

Hero Talents first appeared with the release of The War Within, and now Midnight is undergoing a number of important changes. The main differences between Hero Talents in The War Within and Midnight:

  • A fourth string of Hero Talents has been added for each specialization.
  • Demon Hunter now has three Hero Talent trees, like the other classes.
  • The system has been shifted towards passive effects to avoid button bloat.
  • Many classes (Monk, Shaman, Paladin, Warlock, Demon Hunter и Druid) have their old Hero Talents reworked or removed and replaced for greater flexibility.
  • Hero Talents now have a stronger influence on scaling and role in the group, while remaining almost entirely passive bonuses.
  • In Midnight, Hero Talents have a great impact on the build system, most of the builds now use a particular Hero Talent tree as a framework.

Hero Talents by Class

There are three Hero Trees available per class in WoW Midnight, except for Druids, who have four. Each specialization has two trees to choose from, and can activate one Hero Tree at a time. Here’s the full list of the available Midnight Hero Talent trees by Class:

Demon Hunter

Midnight Hero Talents Overview

Here we break down Demon Hunter Hero Talent capstones in WoW Midnight. These peak talents improve uptime, survivability, or burst damage, depending on the spec:

Aldrachi Reaver (Havoc/Vengeance):

  • Thrill of the Fight — After consuming both unique Empowerments, you gain Thrill of the Fight for 5 s: your attack speed increases and your damaging/healing abilities deal extra damage.

Scarred (Havoc/Devourer):

  • Demonic Intensity— Demonsurge causes your Demon Hunter abilities to explode for fire damage; each subsequent Demonsurge during a Metamorphosis window increases its damage by 10%, and the talent further boosts Demonsurge’s explosions.

Annihilator (Devourer/Vengeance):

  • World Killer — This hero tree builds stacks of Voidfall; each time stacks are spent, meteors strike your target. The talent significantly buffs every third Voidfall meteor, causing a giant void meteor that deals massive damage

In WoW Midnight, you can get a Void Elf Demon Hunter to try the new third spec. It’s an enjoyable addition that can easily become yours with the help of our team.
