World of Warcraft Professions WoW Engineering Mounts

It just so happens that Mounts in World of Warcraft are quite similar to cars in real life. They have transport abilitiesand are considered to be luxury items at the same time. Mounts made by the Engineering Profession are vivid examples to these two points simultaneously. Mechanical vehicles will become splendid additions to your collection so everyone could see how rich and skilled you are. Moreover, if you are a talented Engineer yourself and you craft Mounts to sell them on the Auction House after, they will shower you with Gold coins, for they cost a fortune, sometimes!

Let’s have a look at some specificinventions.

Depleted-Kyparium Rocket

depleted kyparium rocket

This is a vehicle made by masters in Goblin Engineering. Like any Goblin invention – use with great care and at your own risk!

Depleted-Kyparium Rocket – this Mount requires Level 20 and Apprentice Riding skill to be used.

Travel Mode depends on your riding skill:

  • Ground (+60% or +100% speed);
  • Flying (+150%, +280% or +310% speed).

The schematic may be purchased from any Engineering trainer as long as you have chosen the Goblin specialization.

Reagents to craft this Mount:

Geosynchronous World Spinner

geosynchronous world spinner

This is an analogical variant to a previous vehicle, crafted by Gnomish Engineering specialists. This rocket was originally designed to speed up the rotation of the world making for shorter nights. Gnomes with insomnia can have lofty goals.

Geosynchronous World Spinner – this Mount requires Level 20 and Apprentice Riding skill to be used.

  • Ground (+60% or +100% speed);
  • Flying (+150%, +280% or +310% speed).

The schematic may be purchased from any Engineering trainer as long as you have chosen the Gnomish specialization.

Reagents to craft this Mount:

The list of needed ingredients is quite similar for both Mounts, as it’s seen, which means the production cost will be close to equal as well. Orb of Mystery costs 20.000 Gold each, so the whole craft costs at least 60.000, as the schematic requires three of them.

Flying Machine

Pay attention please that Flying Machine is an Engineering Mount only, with a skill level requirement at 1 point. Schematic to the Flying Machine can be purchased from any Engineering trainer.

Efficient and inexpensive to produce, this model of a helicopter is the main combat unit of the Alliance’s Air Forces. If you are an Engineer of any faction and still do not have your personal Flying Machine, do not waste aminute longer, and GET TO DA CHOPPA! as one very famous actor would say.

Flying Machine – requires Level 60, Engineering (1) and Expert Riding skill level to use.

Travel Mode depends on your riding skill:

  • Ground (+60% or +100% speed);

Players may find all the needed reagents at Qiff and Dealer Najeeb Vendors in Netherstorm location in Outland for less than 30 Gold coins.

Mecha-Mogul Mk2

mecha mogul mk2

Mecha-Mogul Mk2 reminds of a Goblin version of a Mimiron’s Head Mount and is learned with Schematic: Mecha-Mogul Mk2 (BoP) that drops from Mogul Razdunk, the last boss of The MOTHERLODE!! Dungeon on Mythic difficulty.

Players with the Engineering Profession must arm themselves with patience and time to obtain this extremely complex mechanical flying gadget, for they will have to visit The MOTHERLODE!! Dungeon again and again. But they will be rewarded with the unique Mount, which will surely set them apart from the crowd or will help to owe an untold wealth; the high price is a result of a very difficult crafting process.

Those who are determined, have to make all the necessary preparations first of all. Maximize their BfA Engineering skill; craft suitable BfA Engineering Goggles, unlock all the Traits in them and save 30.000 Gold to buy Barely Stable Azerite Reactor later.

Now you are ready! Put on your freshly made Goggles and start farming The MOTHERLODE!! Dungeon. Enter the Mythic difficulty Dungeon (do not mix with M+ Dungeon); then pull, slaughter and loot all the mechanic foes you can find; remember to salvage them after. Try not to miss the Venture Co. Masterminders, because you may loot Azerite Inspir-A-Geneering Elixir from them and this concrete Item is needed to obtain Mecha-Mogul Mk1 Remote Activation Device. After getting this essential detail we recommend to use the potion on the pack of mobs, which are located near the last boss to increase the number of needed materials in loot. Be mentally prepared to spend hours and hours in this Dungeon.

Mecha-Mogul Mk2 Mount Requires Level 20 and the Apprentice Riding skill to be used.

Travel Mode depends on your riding skill:

  • Ground (+60% or +100% speed);
  • Flying (+150%, +280% or +310% speed).

Crafting this Mount requires 150 levels in BfA Engineering skill and the following reagents:

Some reagents require even higher BfA Engineering skill (at least 225) to find and they can be obtained only by salvaging mechanical corpses in Mythic MOTHERLODE Dungeon:

Mechano-Hog

mechano-hog

Mechano-Hog – is a Horde variant of an Engineer motorcycle. The Schematic: Mechano-Hog can be purchased from the Horde Expedition Quartermasters – Sebastian Crane in Howling Fjord or Gara Skullcrush in Borean Tundra locations once you gain the “Exalted” reputation status with the Horde Expedition. You will be able to use the Alliance analog Mekgineer’s Chopper for the characters on the same account as soon as you will “learn” this one. Both variants have an additional seat, which can occupy one of your Party members – it’s a way better to travel with friends!

This is a ground Mount. It requires Level 40 and the Journeyman Riding skill to be used. Horde only.

Travel Mode depends on your riding skill:

  • Ground (+60% or +100% speed).

Reagents to craft this Mount are similar for both versions:

Non-craftable ingredients cost 12.500 Gold and can be purchased from Roxi Ramrocket in the Storm Peaks (Northrend) or from Big Keech in the Valley of Eternal Blossoms (Pandaria):

Sky Golem

sky golem

If you are suddenly overwhelmed with a desire to cover yourself with multiple layers of thick armor and to crash into everything and probably even everyone around you, you will definitely need this particular Mount. But it may be extremely useful for peaceful Herbalists as well because there is no need to dismount to gather this or that tiny flower, which makes the whole process much easier and faster. A truly indispensable vehicle for the Herbalism Profession and a deserving addition to your collection. Unfortunately, it will take you 30 days to craft it, as one of the needed reagents – Jard’s Peculiar Energy Source has a limit of only one per day.

Schematic: Chief Engineer Jard’s Journal drops from Pandarian mobs and has a higher drop rate in Raids.

Sky Golem requires Level 80 and Expert Riding skill to use.

There are many different professions in the World of Warcraft, but hardly any of them can grant this many Mounts to create. The Engineering Profession gives Players a great opportunity to craft unique vehicles from one hand and to earn enough money upon selling their inventions to others from the other hand. Some Mounts cost a small fortune to craft, indeed, and are quite complicated to get, but the harder is the way, the sweeter is the result, isn’t it?
