Rotmire drops Sporefused gear up to item level 298 on Mythic difficulty, alongside exclusive collectibles including the Luminous Sporeglider mount, the Luminous Rotshroom housing decoration, unique toys, cosmetics, and achievement rewards.
📌 Sporefall is the first Mythic Flex raid in World of Warcraft history. Instead of the traditional fixed format, Mythic difficulty in Sporefall scales for groups of 15 to 25 players. Blizzard introduced this system as a test to make Mythic raiding more accessible for guilds that struggle to maintain an exact 20-player roster.
Sporefall Raid Location
WoW Midnight Sporefall location is Harandar, near the Grudge Pit delve. To reach the entrance, travel through Harandar and head toward the Grudge Pit area. The nearest flight point is Har’athir, which sits just north of the raid entrance. The entrance to Sporefall is located at /way 73.7, 66.5.
Sporefall Raid Rewards
WoW Midnight Sporefall loot includes very strong gear, despite it being only a single-boss raid. Rotmire drops Sporefused gear, which provides top-end item levels for each difficulty and includes weapons, armor, jewelry, and trinkets. The loot is designed to give strong progression gains even from a short weekly clear. Here we have prepared the full Sporefall raid loot scaling table for each difficulty:
| Difficulty | Item Level | Crests |
|---|---|---|
| LFR | 259 | Veteran Dawncrest |
| Normal | 272 | Champion Dawncrest |
| Heroic | 285 | Hero Dawncrest |
| Mythic | 298 | Myth Dawncrest |
📌 All Sporefall loot is Sporefused, this means that it drops at fully upgraded item level tiers and does not require additional crest upgrading.
Rotmire doesn’t drop a tier set, but instead he has a limited pool of items, including gear of each armor type, jewelry, and trinkets. If you want to obtain any of them and more, our Gearing service is the fastest way to do so.

Sporefall Raid Mount
The Sporefall raid mount can be acquired via Rotmire’s weekly loot system, called the Luminous Sporeglider. What makes this mount different from other drop mounts is the fact that it is not dependent on RNG. Players gain Delicious Sporesnacks when they defeat Rotmire regardless of the difficulty, and it is guaranteed that one will be awarded each week. With four Sporesnacks, you can build the Luminous Sporeglider. As you can see, this requires clearing the raid for at least 4 weeks. If you don’t have time for this, let our professional players handle everything and obtain the Luminous Sporeglider for you!
📌 Because Sporefall only has a single boss, the mount is effectively a structured weekly progression reward rather than a rare drop, making it one of the more predictable raid mounts in Patch 12.0.7.
Sporefall Raid Toys
Sporefall includes two cosmetic toy rewards that drop from Rotmire as bonus loot. These items are not part of the main gear table and can drop on any difficulty, making them accessible through normal weekly clears. Here are the Sporefall raid toys:
- Madcap Redcap: This is a fungus-based toy allowing players to gift their friends a spore-laden snack. It comes with a cooldown and serves mostly for cosmetic purposes.
- Mycomancer’s Hearthspore: This is a Hearthstone toy that customizes the appearance of the teleport animation.
Sporefall Housing Decor
Sporefall housing reward is tied to Rotmire and is called Luminous Rotshroom. This item is a fungal-themed decor piece designed for housing plots, fitting the natural and bioluminescent style of Harandar.
The Luminous Rotshroom can be placed both indoors and outdoors, and functions as a light-style decorative object. It is part of Rotmire’s bonus loot pool and can drop on any raid difficulty.
Sporefall Raid Achievements
Sporefall achievements are focused on defeating Rotmire across different difficulties. Most rewards follow the standard raid pattern, with separate achievements for Normal, Heroic, and Mythic clears, plus guild-based versions for coordinated groups.
Below is the full achievement list for Sporefall:
- Rotmire – Defeat Rotmire on any difficulty.
- Heroic: Rotmire – Defeat Rotmire on Heroic difficulty.
- Mythic: Rotmire – Defeat Rotmire on Mythic difficulty.
- Rotmire Guild Run – Defeat Rotmire with a guild group on Normal or higher.
- Heroic: Rotmire Guild Run – Guild group Heroic clear.
- Mythic: Rotmire Guild Run – Guild group Mythic clear.
In addition to these, Sporefall achievements also tie into seasonal raid progression with Ahead of the Curve: Rotmire and Cutting Edge: Rotmire. These Sporefall achievements follow standard Seasonal rules and are only available during Season 1 of Midnight. If you want to get this achievement before the season ends, our Sporefall service is exactly what you are looking for!
Sporefall Raid Bosses
WoW Sporefall raid has only one boss: Rotmire. Rotmire is a massive fungal creature that has grown out of control inside Harandar. The fight is the full raid encounter and is tied directly to stopping the spread of corruption in the zone.
Rotmire
The fight against Rotmire in WoW Midnight Sporefall raid is about controlling where the adds die and keeping dangerous ground effects separated. Rotmire gains energy over time and at 100 energy casts Fungal Bloom, which turns dead adds into explosive shrooms and increases raid-wide damage taken for a short time.
If corpses and adds are not controlled, the arena fills with overlapping hazards that make movement harder. Before the fight begins, assign general areas in the room. The main rule is to keep different add types and their corpses apart and avoid stacking them in the same spot.
Main Phase
At the start, Rotmire uses Awaken Fungi, spawning Shroomlings that fixate random players. These must be picked up quickly and moved away from the group. DPS should kill Shroomlings in set locations. Do not kill them in the center, since their corpses are used later during Fungal Bloom.
Rotmire also casts Festering Vines on several players. These players take damage over time and must move out. When the effect ends, it drops Writhing Vines, which deal damage to anyone standing inside. These zones should be placed near the edges and not overlap.
Rotmire targets the tank with Putrid Fist, dealing heavy damage and applying a stacking debuff that increases physical damage taken. Tanks should swap after each application, and the boss must be turned away from the group.
At intervals, Rotmire uses Bursting Pustules, dealing damage to all players and applying Rotting Pustules, which increases damage taken from periodic effects for the rest of the fight. Healing cooldowns are needed as stacks build.
On Heroic and Mythic Difficulty, Sporecaps adds will spawn during the fight. They should be interrupted and killed quickly. They should also be moved away from Shroomlings so their corpses do not overlap.
Intermission
When Rotmire reaches 100 energy, he casts Fungal Bloom. This turns all nearby corpses into Bursting Shrooms. Each shroom explodes shortly after spawning. To handle this:
- Avoid killing adds in the same place;
- Spread kills across different spots;
- Move away from new shrooms immediately after they appear.
Mythic Difficulty adds Funglings along with Shroomlings. If a Shroomling corpse and a Fungling corpse come within 10 yards of each other, a Doom Shroom forms. This deals very high damage to all players and applies a long damage-over-time effect. You will need to kill Shroomlings and Funglings in separate areas and not drag corpses close together.
Sporefall Raid Tips
Here we have prepared some Sporefall tips that will help you bring Rotmire down in this 12.0.7 raid.
- Set specific areas for Shroomlings and other adds. Do not kill everything in the same spot.
- Dead adds are used during Fungal Bloom. If they are grouped, the room becomes unsafe quickly.
- Effects like Festering Vines leave ground hazards. Place them near edges and avoid overlap.
- Tanks should turn Rotmire away from the group to reduce damage from frontal attacks.
- Putrid Fist applies a stacking debuff. Switch after each stack.
- Sporecaps cast group damage spells that must be interrupted quickly.
- Rotting Pustules increases damage taken over time, so damage ramps up later.
- The middle area should stay as clean as possible for movement.
