In WoW Midnight Mythic+ dungeons are the major PvE activity and a source of gear and upgrade resources. In this guide, you will learn about the Mythic+ basics, affix system, seasonal changes, and dungeon rotation. Additionally, we explain how to unlock and prepare for Mythic+ completion, and which rewards you can get.
Midnight Mythic+ Guide Key Takeaways:
- In WoW Midnight, Mythic+ is a system of modified dungeons with progressive difficulty.
- Depending on the keystone level, you’ll have extra challenges — affixes — which add new mechanics and empower enemies.
- In Midnight Season 2, the following dungeons are included in the rotation: Altar of Fangs, Murder Row, Den of Nalorakk, The Blinding Vale, Voidscar Arena, Kings’ Rest, Temple of Sethraliss, and Ruby Life Pools.
- Mythic+ Rating system features the following milestones: 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, and 3400 points. Each milestone gives you an achievement and a seasonal reward.
Midnight Mythic+ Overview
Mythic+ in WoW Midnight Season 2 is the main PvE mode built around completing dungeons of increasing difficulty. You enter a seasonal pool of dungeons, activate the Mythic+ keystone, complete the timer, and face enhanced versions of enemies with additional modifiers — affixes.
📌 The higher the keystone level, the more difficult the content and the higher the requirements for completion (less time is given for the M+ completion).
In the endgame, Midnight Mythic+ acts as a key PvE loop directly linked to character progression. Through the Mythic+ dungeons, you can farm gear, increase your Mythic+ rating, and consistently interact with the current pool of dungeons. Additionally, completing Mythic+ Keys will help you unlock new rewards from the Great Vault to get even more gear. If you want to get the rewards fast and with zero grind, our pro players are ready to help you out.
Midnight Mythic+ Bonus Roll
With the release of Season 2, Bonus Rolls are being kept for the Mythic+ dungeon system in WoW Midnight. This mechanic allows you to roll for loot even if the M+ chest gave you none at the end of the run. It means that hunting down the desired pieces of BiS gear has become much easier.
Why Bonus Rolls Matter for WoW Midnight Mythic+:
- You can roll a Myth track item (305–318 ilvl) from any +10 dungeon.
- There’s a duplicate protection mechanic (provided that you roll in the same dungeon with the same keystone level).
Bonus Roll currently serves as an alternative to Mythic raid loot or Mythic+ track of the Great Vault. Rolling a bonus item makes sense when you run +10 keystone. At this level, you have a chance to roll a Myth track piece, and it’s easy to rerun the same dungeon fast for more rolls.
Midnight Mythic+ Affixes Schedule
In WoW Midnight, Mythic+ Affixes appear in seasonal keystone dungeons, and they rotate weekly, based on your keystone level. Here’s which Season 2 affixes are up this week in Midnight Mythic:
| Keystone Level | Active Affixes |
|---|---|
| +2 to +4 | Lindormi’s Guidance |
| +5 to +6 | Xal’atath’s Bargain Affixes become active. |
| +7 to +9 | Fortified or Tyrannical (depending on the week) |
| +10 to +11 | Both Fortified and Tyrannical are active at the same time |
| +12 and up | Fortified + Tyrannical + Xal’atath’s Guile |
Here is a list of all possible Xal’atath’s Bargain Affixes available in Midnight Season 2 Mythic+:
- Xal’atath’s Bargain: Ascendant;
- Xal’atath’s Bargain: Voidbound;
- Xal’atath’s Bargain: Pulsar;
- Xal’atath’s Bargain: Devour.
✏️ At Keystone levels of +7-9, you get either Tyrannical or Fortified; at +10-12 and up, Tyrannical and Fortified affixes work simultaneously.
Midnight Mythic+ Affixes
Mythic+ affixes in Midnight are modifiers that are added to dungeons as the Mythic+ keystone level increases. They affect enemy HP pool, special abilities, and group requirements. Depending on the WoW Midnight affix, you need to consider not only the basic mechanics of dungeons, but also additional restrictions associated with the current key.
Xal’atath’s Bargain affixes, first introduced in the TWW expansion, return to the Midnight pool, alongside a new affix — Lindormi’s Guidance:
- Lindormi guides players, weakening select non-boss enemies with Temporal Sands and preventing player deaths from reducing the time remaining.
📌 Affixes in WoW Midnight change weekly.
How to Get to Mythic+ Location
All dungeons in the seasonal Mythic+ rotation are located in the same locations where they can be found in the respective expansion. For example, Midnight dungeons will be located in the WoW Midnight zones, and dungeons from previous expansions can be found in the main zone of their expansion.
There are three main methods explaining how to get to Mythic+ locations in WoW Midnight:
- You can simply fly to most of the new dungeons on your mount or get there from the nearest flight point.
- To get to the old dungeons, you can also fly to the desired location through portals in Stormwind or Orgrimmar.
- To reach dungeons like the King’s Rest or Ruby Life Pools, use the direct Timeways portal in Silvermoon.
- Alternatively, if you complete the Keystone Hero achievement for all dungeons, you’ll get portals to each dungeon in the rotation.
Midnight Mythic+ Season 2
Midnight Mythic+ Season 2 starts one week after the release of Patch 12.1 on August 18, 2026. This new season changes the dungeon rotation by introducing five Midnight dungeons, including three dungeons from the prior expansion. The biggest change for this new season would be the Altar of Fangs dungeon that will open on patch day up to Heroic and then become part of the Mythic+ rotation for Season 2.
The list of WoW Midnight Season 2 Mythic+ dungeons included in the dungeon rotation is:
| Expansion | Dungeon |
|---|---|
| Midnight | Altar of Fangs |
| Midnight | Murder Row |
| Midnight | Den of Nalorakk |
| Midnight | The Blinding Vale |
| Midnight | Voidscar Arena |
| Dragonflight | Ruby Life Pools |
| Battle for Azeroth | Temple of Sethraliss |
| Battle for Azeroth | King’s Rest |
If you are a seasoned player, you might already be acquainted with the dungeons from the previous expansion. It usually helps a lot in a fast completion, as you don’t need to explore the routes. But even if you are a newbie, completing M+ runs is simply a matter of experience, and with our Mythic +10 runs, you can gain it.

Midnight Mythic+ Changes
In WoW Midnight Mythic+, Keystone has undergone several changes. As before, the new dungeon rotation includes four new Midnight expansion dungeons and four old dungeons. However, there are also more significant updates.
Key changes to Mythic+ in Midnight Season 2:
- Cone and line attacks now have clearer warning visuals that better show where they will hit.
- Enemy health has been increased, making target priority and damage checks more important while reducing the strain on Tanks and Healers.
- Several dungeon pain points have been improved, including faster roleplay events and updated boss mechanics.
- Enemy tooltips now show how much each mob contributes to the Enemy Forces count in Mythic+ dungeons.
Season 2 dungeons are affected by these changes right from day 1. However, with the release of Season 2, even more substantial updates and features might be added.
How to Unlock Mythic+ in Midnight
Mythic+ Keystone in WoW Midnight unlocks as soon as you complete your first Mythic or Mythic+ dungeon. For Mythic dungeons, you can list a group yourself, while for Mythic+ dungeons, you will need to search for a group through LFG. After completing the first Mythic dungeon, you will receive your first keystone, usually +2.
If you already have the key and want to run an M+ dungeon, start a group, then set dungeon difficulty to Mythic, and when in the dungeon, place your key into the Font of Power. It’s a short glowing pillar, usually located right in front of the entrance inside the instance. You can reach out to our team for Mythic +0 completion to get your first key and learn all the basic M+ principles safely.
✏️ Although there are no special requirements for completing Mythic+ dungeons, you must be level 90 and preferably have a gear score of 275+ ilvl when WoW Midnight Season 2 begins.
How to Prepare for Mythic+ in Midnight
To complete Mythic+ dungeons in WoW Midnight Season 2, it’s worth putting in a little extra effort to prepare. Here are some simple steps you can use as a checklist before using your Mythic+ keystone:
- Make sure your ilvl is around 275+. If you don’t have the right gear yet, complete the Twilight Ascension Event, the starting campaign, and the available side quests. If you have enough money, check out the gear available at the auction house.
- Buy or craft important consumables. These are food, healing potions, combat potions, and flasks. In addition, it would be useful to have weapon buffs and runes, as well as a full set of enchants for available gear items.
- If possible, find a reliable group or guild focused on Mythic+ runs. This will help you avoid unnecessary wipes and long searches for a group.
- If you are a tank, consider enabling Lindormi’s Glow before starting your run. It highlights key enemies in the dungeon, and defeating them will complete the enemy forces requirement, making routing simpler and faster.
If you don’t have a team yet and you are not sure you are ready for M+ runs, our PvE Coaches can accompany you and teach you all the tricks of the trade.
