Every Cursed Surge in WoW Midnight follows a simple three-stage format:

1. Travel to the active Cursed Surge location.
2. Complete the displayed opening objective.
3. Defeat the rare elite that appears.
4. Collect the boss rewards.
5. Use the following 30 minutes for Cursed Fishing and gathering.

Opening objectives usually progress faster when several players work nearby. Credit comes from participating, so you do not need a formal party. The final boss deals more damage and has considerably more health. Two or three players should handle most encounters without a long fight.
