The process of getting this magnificent Leywoven Flying Carpet isn’t particulary hard, but can be time consuming and annoying to complete. First, you need to max out your reputation with Nightfallen faction, reaching Exalted. And once the reputation grind is done… you continue it, farming for reputation by doing world quests and gathering tokens for the Nightfallen. With every 10,000 of gained reputation, you’ll be able to receive a Nightfallen Cache, which has a small chance of awarding this mount.

The Leywoven Flying Carpet has a 3% chance to drop from the Nightfallen Cache, rewarded for each 10,000 reputation you earn with Nightfallen faction once you’re done maxing out the paragon reputation with them. The drom rate is painfully low for the reward, which can take weeks to farm for. Similarly, it can take you months - if not years - of continuous reputation grind.

Yes! It is in fact the first and, so far, the only Flying Carpet that can be used by players without any Tailoring skill. This fact alone would’ve made this mount much more popular compared to its counterparts, were it not so time consuming and frustrating to get.

The Nightfallen base is located at Suramar, the Broken Isles. There, you will find the First Arcanist Thalyssra. Once your reputation with the Nightfallen has reached Exalted, she will reward you the Nightfallen cache for every extra 10,000 reputation you get. While you’re always guaranteed to get the Nightfallen Cache itself, the rewards within it are randomized, so it can take more than a couple - or even couple dozen - attempts until you get the Leywoven Flying Carpet from it.
