How rare is the abyss worm?
While the exacts numbers are arguable, most players seem to agree that there’s only about 1% chance to get this mount, if not less. It can easily take hundreds attempts before the mount drops, thus it’s generally considered much easier and faster to just look for it on a Black Market.
How do you get the abyss worm in wow?
Abyss Worm drops from the Mistress Sassz'ine in the Tomb of Sargeras raid. Prior to Sassz’ine, players must also defeat the bosses Goroth and Harjatan, but the rest of the raid bosses are not required for the mount acquisition.
How do you farm abyss worm?
The Abyss Worm can be farmed on any difficulty, which includes Normal, Heroic, Mythic and LFR (Looking For Raid). That allows to farm the mount up to 4 times a week per a single character. Many players utilize multiple characters to increase their number of attempts and chances for success exponentially.
That being said, the rarity of the mount can still require hundreds of attempts and months of monotonous grinding to get it. Hence, many prefer to just grab the mount from the Black Market, as it often ends up being much quicker and easier to do.
Where is the abyss worm?
The mount drops from the Tomb of Sargeras raid, located at The Broken Shore, Broken Isles, 64, 21. The raid contains 9 bosses, but you have to defeat only three of them to get the mount: Goroth, Harjatan and finally Mistress Sassz'ine, the one who drops the mount itself.
