Blizzard is speeding up the Pre-Patch Twilight Ascension Event and addressing the main complaint from many players that the pauses between activities are too long.
The developers have announced that rare bosses in the Pre-Patch event will appear every 5 minutes instead of every 10 minutes. The change will take effect today, January 29, 2026, with the new hotfix. Previously, players have reported that they had to spend most of their time in the event waiting for the next spawn, and even more often, they missed it.
In addition to the increased spawn rate, Blizzard has made other balance adjustments:
- The health of Ritualists and bosses changed, so that battles don’t end too quickly in large groups.
- The cost of equipment from the vendor is now lower: items now cost 20 Insignias instead of 40.
