WoW pre-patch tier set Catalysts now allow players to gear alts more efficiently. Level 70 tier sets can be obtained early by running Warbound epic gear from the Twilight Ascension through the Catalyst, lowering its level requirement.
There are some clear limits to Midnight pre-patch tier set Catalysts, though. Vendor rare catch-up gear can’t be catalyzed, as only epic quality gear qualifies. Low-level characters can’t buy epics directly, and the Catalyst itself is in Dornogal, which normally requires level 68 to access. Even after catalyzing, the gear still requires level 70 to equip, so there’s no truly broken power leveling happening.
With a bit of setup, you can outfit your alts with ilvl 121+ gear with full set bonuses.
