Blizzard has unveiled some major new details for Legion Remix. The upcoming time-limited World of Warcraft event lets players relive the entire Legion expansion at accelerated speed. Just like with MoP Remix, players will roll a special “Timerunner” character to explore all Legion content. In doing so, they will earn a massive collection of mounts, transmogs, pets, and titles. Everything will be heavily sped up, and the event will roll out in phases every two weeks.
Remix will feature several new systems. The most notable of them are Remixed Artifact Weapons, Heroic World Tier difficulty for outdoor content, and Timeworn Keystone Dungeons. Players can also do Infinite Research quests and find Timewarped Obelisks that grant powerful buffs. Bronze returns as the main remix currency as well.
Rewards range from brand-new class mounts and transmogs to rare Legion-era drops like Shackled Ur’zul and the Scythe of the Unmaker.
The most important part for all players that might not even be planning to play Legion Remix is the five new extra character slots that will be granted to all accounts. Additionally, characters can be transferred early into The War Within, though all Remix-specific abilities and gear will be removed.
