PTR for the World of Warcraft Patch 12.0.7 shows that the open-world enthusiasts are going to receive a reason to grind for Heroic World Tier. There is a new quest from Decimus that gives the player Myth Track gear, which has always been restricted to high-tier PvE gameplay.
The quest is titled Knocking Off the Top. It requires the player to gather 4 Void Commander’s Emblems from the newly introduced world bosses in Val and Naigtal at Heroic World Tier. The world bosses should work according to the general world bosses’ logic, and thus it would take several weeks to complete the quest.
WoW World Content Myth Gear Rewards
The reward looks simple but is pretty valuable. PTR testing shows a choice between three Myth 1/6 gear pieces:
- Cloak;
- Belt;
- Bracers.
These slots are not the biggest power spikes in the game, but Myth Track gear from open-world content is still a big deal. For players who focus on world activities, alts, or late-season catch-up, Patch 12.0.7 could make Heroic World Tier much more rewarding.
