Blizzard revealed the new WoW Midnight roadmap at BlizzCon 2026, outlining Retail updates through summer 2027. The schedule includes Patch 12.2, Season 3, The Last Titan reveal, and Wrath of the Lich King Remix.
WoW Midnight Roadmap Schedule
The next WoW Midnight stage begins this autumn with Patches 12.1.5 and 12.1.7.
Patch 12.1.5 adds Labyrinths, a new campaign, a mini-raid, and Aqir Invasions. Patch 12.1.7 continues the story with new quests, Thrall Lorewalking, Turbulent Timeways, and Talebound.
Winter brings Patch 12.2: Eclipse and Midnight Season 3. Players will explore the Mantle Vault, complete Thraegar’s Stand, and face Xal’atath inside the Worldcore raid. Season 3 also refreshes Mythic+, Delves, PvP, and seasonal rewards.
Wrath of the Lich King Remix Reveal
Wrath of the Lich King Remix will arrive in summer 2027. The event will return players to Northrend through WoW’s experimental Remix format. Blizzard has not revealed its progression systems, special powers, or rewards yet. More information will arrive closer to the event.
WoW The Last Titan Reveal
Blizzard will fully reveal World of Warcraft: The Last Titan in spring 2027. The expansion will conclude the Worldsoul Saga and continue Azeroth’s story after Midnight.
The Last Titan is scheduled for 2027, but Blizzard has not announced its exact release date. Before its arrival, Patch 12.2.5 will expand Midnight with new quests and a world event. The update will also remove armor-type restrictions from transmog. Players will gain access to cloth, leather, mail, and plate appearances across different classes.
