Blizzard has shared details on gear scaling and max item level for World of Warcraft: Legion Remix. Unlike Mists of Pandaria Remix, Legion gear won’t be upgraded with Bronze. Instead, it will scale as you progress, dropping at increasingly higher item levels until you hit the cap.
At level 80, uncommon, rare, and epic gear caps at 571, 578, and 584 item levels, respectively. However, scaling gear goes much higher. Items from Cache of Infinite Power, Legion raids, Mote of a Broken Time turn-ins, and Mythic+ dungeons can scale all the way to item level 740, the maximum in Legion Remix.
Mythic+ rewards also scale to 740, with the highest drops coming from completing +63 keys or higher.
