HOME Path of Exile 2 Path of Exile 2 Dawn of the Hunt Upcoming Fixes

Grinding Gear Games has just released a major development update for Path of Exile 2, following widespread feedback from players. This PoE 2 update addresses many of the top complaints, including slow early gameplay, overtuned monster difficulty, and build issues, especially with the Huntress class. The Dawn of the Hunt update brought a lot of changes to PoE 2, and we’ve covered them in detail in our Path of Exile 2: Dawn of the Hunt Overview.

Path of Exile 2 Huntress Get Power-Up

Path of Exile 2 Huntress Get Power-Up

One of the most talked-about changes is the upcoming buff to the Huntress in Path of Exile 2. Many players found her early game frustrating due to the awkward Frenzy generation and clunky parrying. Here’s what’s coming:

  • Cull the Weak: A new skill that lets you generate Frenzy Charges without having to Parry.
  • Faster Spears: Lightning Spear throw speed is getting a boost to improve smoothness.
  • Parry Overhaul: GGG is reworking how Parry feels and responds overall.

Path of Exile 2 Summoner Changes

If you’re a fan of summoner or minion builds in PoE 2, this will be welcome news. In patch 0.2.0, minions were nerfed heavily to fix late-game scaling, but the early game suffered. This should make PoE 2 summoner builds feel smoother while leveling. Now in patch 0.2.0c:

  • Campaign minions will get buffed damage and health, while late-game scaling nerfs stay in place.

At the start of a new season in PoE2, you have to level a fresh character from scratch, it’s time-consuming and not exactly convenient. That’s where we come in. Reach out to us and get to Your Desired Level quickly and hassle-free.

PoE 2 Monster Nerfs Are Already Live

Another big change is the drop in monster health during the  Path of Exile 2 campaign. Players felt monsters were too tanky and slowed down the flow of gameplay. Live now in patch 0.2.0b:

  • Campaign monster life has been cut by 25%.
  • Rare minions were way too tanky. Their HP is now down by about 60%, back to pre-0.2 levels.

These changes speed up combat and help new builds feel more responsive in Path of Exile 2.

Path of Exile 2 Crash Fixes and Tech Improvements

Technical issues were a major complaint after launch. GGG has now addressed some of the worst bugs in this PoE 2 patch preview.

  • The “Failed to deserialize object” crash has been fixed.
  • Client crashes are lower than patch 0.1.1 levels.
  • However, server crashes are still 6x higher than normal and remain a top priority.

New QoL Features Coming to Path of Exile 2

Grinding Gear Games is also working on some quality-of-life features that will make your PoE 2 experience more user-friendly:

  • Atlas Bookmarks: Save custom locations for easy map tracking.
  • Expanded Stash Affinities: Will now support Socketables, Tablets, and more.
  • Minion Rebinding: Fix in development for Spectre and Tamed Beast swapping without limitations.

This latest Path of Exile 2 update shows that GGG is actively listening to the community. From Huntress buffs to minion reworks and monster nerfs, it’s clear the dev team wants to improve the early-game feel without messing up the endgame. Stay tuned for more updates, and balance tweaks are likely on the way.
