Blizzard has dropped the preview trailer for Overwatch 2 Season 17, officially titled Powered Up, and it’s packed with fresh content. Launching June 24, the new season brings two Mythic cosmetics, new maps, reworked modes, and limited-time events.

For the first time ever, players will get two Mythic items at launch. D.Va’s Horang skin transforms her into a fierce tiger spirit, while Reaper gets a dark, evolving Steel Death weapon skin. Alongside those, players can unlock 8-bit styles, Overwatch Academy-themed outfits, and sakura skins across multiple heroes.
The new Flashpoint map Aatlis, set in Morocco, joins the core pool. Map voting is finally coming to Competitive play, and Stadium mode expands with new heroes and updated maps like Esperanca and Samoa.
The season kicks off with the Powered Up Event (June 24–30), offering up to four Epic Loot Boxes. In mid-July, Hacks & Hijinx brings a chaotic twist to 6v6 matches. And of course, the classic Summer Games are expected to return later in the season.
