With the Mists of Pandaria Classic PvP Season 13 launch date set on December 9, Blizzard has revealed a full breakdown of upcoming PvP changes along with a major update on Gladiator eligibility for Season 12.
Thanks to far higher participation than expected, Season 12 will use the traditional 0.5% Gladiator cutoff, resulting in an estimated 10,000 Gladiators across the EU and the US when the season ends on December 1.
Blizzard also confirmed that alt characters will no longer dilute the cutoff, meaning multiple alts from the same player count as one spot. However, all qualifying alts will still receive their Gladiator rewards, making the system fairer and more representative of actual player participation.
