NetEase Games has confirmed that Marvel Rivals will officially launch on PlayStation 4 on September 12, 2025. The release comes alongside the start of Season 4: The Heart of the Dragon, bringing the popular team-based brawler to Sony’s last-gen console for the first time.
The announcement was paired with a cinematic trailer that teased the new season’s storyline and revealed two fresh heroes: Daredevil and Angela. The action takes place on a new battleground set in K’un-Lun, the mystical training ground tied to Iron Fist. While gameplay footage for the PS4 version has not yet been shown, players can expect full access to the same seasonal content available on PC and PS5.
Season 4 is set to deliver a new battle pass and themed cosmetics, rumored to include skins such as Mecha Moon Knight, Dark Phoenix, and Desert Ultron. NetEase has also hinted at fresh synergy updates for heroes like Human Torch, Black Panther, Psylocke, Venom, and Captain America.
