Square Enix has officially unveiled the release schedule for Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.2, titled “Seekers of Eternity”, bringing a wealth of new content to Dawntrail. Players can expect the patch to launch on March 25, 2025, followed by incremental updates 7.21 on April 22, 2025, and 7.25 on May 27, 2025.
Patch 7.2 – March 25
In Patch 7.2 the Seekers of Eternity main story will continue on March 25, taking Warriors of Light deeper into Dawntrail’s narrative. A major highlight is the AAC Cruiserweight Tier, the latest 8-player raid series, with its Savage difficulty unlocking a week later. The Underkeep Dungeon joins the duty roster, alongside Trial Recollection and its Extreme variant. Additionally, Hells’ Kier (Unreal) will rotate into Faux Hollows.
Patch 7.21 – April 22
On April 22 Patch 7.21 will shift focus to non-combat content, introducing Cosmic Exploration, a brand-new lifestyle activity. Crafters and gatherers will also receive Cosmic Tools, the latest set of relic tools.
Patch 7.25 – May 27
The final update in Patch 7.2 on May 27 brings Field Operation: Occult Crescent, featuring a new explorable zone, South Horn. Players will tackle the 48-player raid, Forked Tower, while Phantom Jobs make their debut,o ptentially expanding gameplay possibilities. On the relic front, Phantom Weapons will be introduced, and the Mamool Ja will feature in Allied Society Quests. Fans of Hildibrand’s antics can also look forward to Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures.
