FromSoftware has released Patch 1.02 for Elden Ring: Nightreign, officially adding Duo Expeditions. They allow players to team up in two-player co-op. While the mode was initially designed for trios, the game will now scale difficulty dynamically based on party size. The update also replaces the “Expedition Type” label with a clearer “Number of Players” tag in the UI.
Patch 1.02 also expands the Relic system with new filtering options, supports up to 100 preset builds, and lets players sell or favorite Relics directly from the Rewards menu. Several quality of life updates are included too, like tabs for merchants, faster preset viewing, and partial cutscene skipping after the Nightlord fight.
