Blizzard may unveil the second major expansion for Diablo IV at The Game Awards 2025. The reason for this speculation is a mysterious post by Jeff Keighley on X (formerly Twitter), in which he showed a statue that is presumably related to plans for Diablo 4.
The community, however, is split: some are convinced that this is a hint at a new Diablo 4 add-on, while others believe that the statue could be a teaser for God of War or even The Elder Scrolls 6.
Diablo IV Current Events
While the community argues about the possible Diablo 4 updates announcement, two in-game events are taking place in Diablo 4. Both events offer an excellent chance to prepare for the Season 10 finale and are active until December 2:
- Compass to Carnage;
- Mother’s Blessing.
The combination of the two events allows you to farm gold, equipment, and Infernal Horde Compasses faster, which are needed to obtain Chaos armor.
📌 Fun fact: Compass to Carnage wasn’t supposed to overlap with Mother’s Blessing at all — it was just delayed for a few months, and the final timing turned out to be unexpectedly beneficial for players.
It’s just a couple of days left to strengthen your characters before the events end on December 2 and the season ends on December 10.
