Blizzard has officially added a new Diablo 4 crossover to DOOM: The Dark Ages, introducing a limited-time event to Season of Slaughter. The collab went live on March 11th at 10 AM PT and features a full set of themed cosmetics, event rewards, and other items for players to give their characters a more brutal DOOM-inspired look.
The main feature of the event is the DOOM: The Dark Ages Reliquary. You can progress through it by killing Elite and Champion Monsters to collect Dark Ages Currency. Among the rewards that have been confirmed are the Shield Saw cosmetic skin, Slayer’s Flail, and the Head of the Cyberdemon back trophy. Blizzard also confirmed that the completion of the full event Reliquary unlocks the Forsaken Gates Town Portal.
The crossover does not end at the Reliquary. During the event, Lair Bosses can also drop a special DOOM chest that contains existing Uniques given DOOM Crucible transmogs, giving weapons the iconic glowing style associated with the DOOM Slayer. In addition, Blizzard is giving out three free in-game emblems in the shop: Dark Before the Dawn on March 11, Grandeur of the Gutted on March 13, and Rip and Tear on March 15.
