Destiny 2 How to Get to the Chess Puzzle
To get to the Chess Puzzle area, you need to get to Eris Morn’s Apartment from the H.E.L.M. and enter her Throne World. Then, find a secret room underneath the main room.
In this secret room you need to interact this the chessboard with the text prompt “Pick up the King?” to load into the activity called “Unknown Antechamber.”
Now you can re-launch this activity with a new node in the Last City.
Destiny 2 How the Chess Puzzle Works?
Here is the Chess Puzzle Mechanics explained. When you enter the puzzle area, you’ll find yourself facing a fully interactive chessboard. Your objective is to place chess pieces in precise positions using a set of control nodes scattered around the board. These nodes allow you to manipulate the pieces in different ways. Each node is marked with an icon and text, so you won’t mess up:
- Piece Plates — Each type of chess piece (pawn, knight, bishop, rook, and queen) has its special plate. Step onto a plate and shoot a tile on the board to spawn that piece in the selected square.
- Delete Node — Located on the left, this plate lets you delete any piece from the board. Just stand on it and shoot the square with the piece you want to remove.
- Convert Node — Found on the right, this node allows you to convert a black queen into a white queen.
- Undo Node — Reverts your last move, in case you made a mistake.
- Start Over Node — Completely resets the board to its default state, giving you a fresh start.
Good luck, Guardian!
