The Haunting event already gave players a ton of themed cosmetics and free rewards, but it’s not over yet. The Tapes of Terror Event is now live, adding a new grind with exclusive cosmetics tied to iconic horror villains like Chucky and Jason.
How the Tapes of Terror Event Works
The BO6 Tapes of Terror event functions like a collectible hunt, much like past Blaze of Glory or John Wick: Ballerina events. Players must collect Chucky and Jason Videotapes, which drop from eliminations in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies, or can be looted in Warzone.
You can use these tapes on the event page to unlock a range of rewards — from Double XP tokens to emotes and operator skins. One of them is free for everyone, while the other is exclusive to Season 6 BlackCell owners.
