The Nuketown Block Party event is here to close out Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded, dropping one more celebration before we move into Black Ops 7. Inspired by one of the franchise’s most legendary maps, Nuketown, this event mixes nostalgia with fresh rewards across both BO6 and Warzone.
Even though Black Ops 7 is right around the corner, Season 5 Reloaded proves that Black Ops 6 still has gas left in the tank. Alongside new weapons and a deadly attachment for the PPSh-41, the event arrives as the highlight of the update, giving players a chance to grind both free and premium rewards.
Black Ops 6 Nuketown Event Start Date
The event officially begins on Thursday, September 4, 2025, launching with the Season 5 Reloaded update. While Activision hasn’t shared an official end date yet, similar past events usually last two weeks, which points to a likely finish on September 18, 2025.
Black Ops 6 How Nuketown Event Works
The devs haven’t confirmed the exact format, but Nuketown Block Party will almost certainly fall into one of the classic Call of Duty event types:
- XP Grind: earn rewards by simply playing matches, racking up kills, and gaining experience.
- Collection: gather tokens or items from kills and supply crates, especially in Warzone.
- Challenges: complete objectives tied to specific tasks, with each step unlocking new loot.
There’s always a chance Treyarch throws in a surprise, but history suggests one of these setups will define the event.
Black Ops 6 Nuketown Event Rewards
The event is split into two tracks — one free for everyone, and one premium requiring 1,100 COD Points. Both contain a mix of Operator skins, weapon blueprints, and cosmetics.
| Track | Rewards |
|---|---|
| Free | Burnt Up (Weapon Blueprint) Armed and Dangerous (Weapon Blueprint) Nuketown Mayor (Operator Skin) Combat Bow (Scorestreak) PPSh-41 Helical Magazine (Attachment) Interrupted Signal (Charm) Fresh Baked (Calling Card) 3 unnamed rewards (likely Loading Screens, Emblems, or Stickers) |
