What’s New in Season 3 of Warzone?
One of the most exciting highlights of Season 03 is the long-awaited return of Verdansk — the map that defined an entire era of Warzone. This isn’t just a copy-paste of the original, though. Verdansk has been fully rebuilt for the current game engine, with updated visuals, smoother movement integration, and a few gameplay surprises to keep veterans on their toes.
At launch, Verdansk will support several playlist options:
- Battle Royale (150 players) – The traditional Warzone experience returns in its classic form.
- Battle Royale Casual – A more relaxed BR mode with 28 real players and up to 120 bots, perfect for warming up or learning the new version of the map.
- Plunder Quads (100 players) – Race to collect cash across Verdansk in a respawn-enabled mode.
- Warzone Bootcamp – Designed for newer players, this mode features 12 real players and 32 bots in a training-ground setup.
- Ranked Play – Arriving mid-season, ranked Verdansk matches will support full 150-player competitive lobbies.
