The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is getting closer, and Treyarch is slowly revealing what players can expect at launch. The game continues the Black Ops saga with a co-op Campaign following Black Ops 2’s storyline, a fast Multiplayer, and a fresh Zombies chapter. But one of the biggest questions right now is: what content from Black Ops 6 will carry forward into Black Ops 7?
What Carries Forward Into Black Ops 7
Treyarch has confirmed that only a limited set of items will transfer:
- Consumables: Double XP Tokens, Double Weapon XP Tokens, and Double Battle Pass XP Tokens will move into Black Ops 7 from day one.
- Zombies GobbleGums: Any GobbleGums earned in Black Ops 6, including rare ones like Perkaholics, Reign Drops, and Hidden Powers, will carry over.
- COD Points: As always, COD Points linked to a player’s account will remain usable in Black Ops 7’s in-game store.
Other Black Ops 6 content that was initially planned to move forward into Season 1 has been cut back, according to Treyarch.
Will Operators and Weapons Carry Forward Into Black Ops 7?
Unfortunately, Black Ops 6 Operators and weapons will not transfer into Black Ops 7. That includes all weapon Blueprints and Operator Skins. Guns tied to Black Ops 6, such as the ABR A1 and Jackal PDW, won’t be available in Black Ops 7.
There is one exception: you can use Reznov Operator Skins from the Reznov Challenge Pack in both Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7, provided players pre-order and unlock them before November 14. Cosmetics tied to the Black Ops 6 Zombies Crew are still unconfirmed for carry forward.
Warzone Carry Forward
For Call of Duty: Warzone, nothing changes. All Black Ops 6, Modern Warfare 2, and Modern Warfare 3 content remains available. Once Black Ops 7 launches, its Operators and weapons will join the Warzone pool during the Season 1 integration.
The loss of Operators and weapons stings, yet the promise of a co-op story, new guns, and a reimagined Zombies mode keeps hype alive.
