Borderlands 4 players just got another free reward for completing the Traunts Don’t Need a Reason community challenge. Gearbox has officially released a new SHiFT code for Harlowe, the Gravitar, giving fans a chance to grab the exclusive Maliwannabee skin as a thank-you for smashing the challenge goal.

The community went above and beyond this time — completing over 571,000 Contracts as Harlowe, far exceeding the original goal of 350,000. As a reward, everyone can now claim the free Maliwannabee skin through SHiFT. This cosmetic joins the growing list of Borderlands 4 free SHiFT codes, which have included Golden Keys, character skins, and other limited-time items.
The timing couldn’t be better, as Borderlands 4’s Horrors of Kairos mini-event is about to begin, bringing new balance changes for Vex’s infinite bleed build and melee setups. Right after that, the first paid DLC, How Rush Saved Mercenary Day Bounty Pack, launches on November 20.

The Maliwannabee skin takes inspiration from Harlowe’s “Family Reunion” character short, using her brother Ephraim’s color palette, a mix of pale green and slate blue, complete with the Maliwan logo on her chest and utility pouch.
What’s Next for Borderlands 4 SHiFT Rewards?
With each Vault Hunter now receiving a short-based skin, it’s unclear if Gearbox will continue releasing more community challenges. However, fans are hoping for new body and head cosmetics in future SHiFT drops instead of simple recolors.
