HOME Battlefield 6 Battlefield 6 Delays Season 2 Update

Battlefield 6 and its companion experience Battlefield REDSEC, will receive their Season 2 update later than expected. Developer Battlefield Studios has officially pushed the launch to February 17, extending the current season and rolling out an interim update to keep players busy.

Players will not be left without fresh content. A new update arrives on January 20, extending Season 1 and adding several limited-time features:

  • New Weekly Challenges;
  • A special Bonus Path;
  • Continued progression on the Season 1 Battle Pass.

Starting January 27, the Frostfire Bonus Path goes live. It includes free and premium cosmetic rewards, such as a Weapon Package, a Soldier Skin, and XP Boosts. Progression is tied entirely to Weekly Challenges, meaning no separate bonus objectives this time. The Frostfire path also runs alongside the main Battle Pass, letting players progress both at once.
