Apex Legends Unleashes Beast Mode Event! Respawn Entertainment has officially rolled out the thrilling Apex Legends Beast Mode Event, running from March 25 to April 15, 2025. Not only will this event treat you to dramatic new game modes, but it also offers fantastic rewards you don’t want to miss.

Apex Legends Power Sword Royale
You will find the Power Sword at the start of every match. Each match (once per round), a specific Power Sword falls onto the map. If you collect this massive sword, you’ll vanquish fights with lethal melee attacks and energy slash defensive blocks — ideal for aggressive, close-range fighting.
Apex Legends Solos and April Fool’s Events
In addition, Respawn is also adding some fun by reintroducing fan-favorite Solos mode from April 8-14. Enjoy the mayhem of the April Fool’s event first, which happens April 1-7, with thoughtfully chosen game modes handpicked by Creator Commissioner Apryze. Players can also earn challenges to earn Apex Packs, special Banner Frames, and special Creator-themed trackers via Twitch Drops.
Apex Legends Skirmisher Class Updates
On top of the exciting modes, the Skirmisher class receives major enhancements during the event. Consequently, these upgrades promote strategic aggression and teamwork, enhancing your overall experience.
- Trailblazer: Squadmates gain a speed boost when sprinting toward you.
- Charged Knock: Skirmishers receive an extra ability charge and 50 HP regeneration after knocking down enemies. This charge lasts for 30 seconds or until used, healing health first, then shields.
Apex Legends Exclusive Beast Mode Event Cosmetics
Throughout the Beast Mode event in Apex Legends, you can earn unique, limited-time cosmetics as you progress. Each cosmetic you unlock brings you closer to bonus milestone rewards, including a total of 20 Exotic Shards. Beast Mode Event Packs grant you the chance to unlock the impressive Universal Melee Power Sword, alongside exclusive Legendary skins for your favorite Legends.
Once you’ve secured the Power Sword, the customization is up to you. Equip your new melee weapon with a Death Box and choose from three striking color variants. If you own multiple variants, you can even swap them mid-match!
