WoW Forever Silithus is the insect-ridden desert in Kalimdor’s southwest corner, home to Cenarion Hold, Twilight’s Hammer camps, and the Scarab Wall of Ahn’Qiraj. It is a level 55–59 zone, so most players arrive for endgame quests, Cenarion Circle reputation, or the Traces of Silithyst world buff. Getting to Silithus in WoW Forever is easy once you know where the single road starts, and this page shows it.
WoW Forever Silithus Key Takeaways:
- Silithus is a contested level 55–59 zone in southwestern Kalimdor.
- The only road into Silithus leaves the northwest corner of Un’Goro Crater.
- Cenarion Hold has one flight master per faction; grab the path on your first visit.
- Low-level characters can swim south along the Feralas coast to reach the zone.
- The Ahn’Qiraj raids exist in Forever’s map data, but Blizzard hasn’t scheduled them.
- WoW Forever has no flying mounts, so it’s the road, the coast, or a flight path.
How to Get to Silithus
To get to Silithus, travel to the northwest corner of Un’Goro Crater and follow the wide path that climbs out of the crater. It’s the only road into the zone, and it works the same for Alliance and Horde:
- Fly to Marshal’s Refuge in northern Un’Goro Crater, or ride down into the crater from Tanaris.
- Head to the far northwest corner of Un’Goro, where the river curls like a snake’s head (around 29, 21).
- Pass between the two tall rock pillars that mark the exit.
- Follow the rough road into Silithus until you reach Cenarion Hold, then talk to your faction’s flight master.
The second route is the coast. Start at the Forgotten Coast in western Feralas (Alliance players at Feathermoon Stronghold take the ferry to the mainland first), follow the shoreline south until the land ends and swim the rest of the way. It’s slow, but it keeps low-level alts away from Un’Goro’s devilsaurs. Some players shorten it further by drowning near the border and resurrecting at the Cenarion Hold spirit healer, which puts them right next to the flight path.
Level 55 is where Silithus stops being a death trap, and it’s a long way up. If you would rather skip leveling and the danger of this zone entirely, our WoW Forever Starter Pack can get you all the way to 60 instead.
Silithus Details in WoW Forever
Silithus in WoW Forever is a level 55–59 contested zone built around Cenarion Hold and the Scarab Wall. The Cenarion Circle watches the silithid hives from the Hold, while the Twilight’s Hammer runs camps across the desert.
| Location | What’s There |
|---|---|
| Cenarion Hold | Main quest hub, flight masters (Horde 48.8, 36.7; Alliance 50.7, 34.6) |
| Valor’s Rest | Northeastern graveyard and exploration point |
| Hive’Ashi, Hive’Zora, Hive’Regal | Silithid hives with elite-heavy quest objectives |
| The Scarab Wall | Gates of Ahn’Qiraj, entrance area of the Ruins and Temple |
Traces of Silithyst is still here: carry the red dust from the geysers to your faction’s camp for a 30-minute damage buff that only applies in Silithus.
The first WoW Forever raid tier opens on December 9, 2026, with Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit, and Onyxia’s Lair. Ahn’Qiraj isn’t on the published roadmap, so don’t expect the gates to open soon. While the wait for Ahn’Qiraj might be long, we recommend you check out our Onyxia’s Lair service to gear up for this potential upcoming raid.
Silithus Tips
Here are a few Silithus tips to make your first visit to this zone easier:
- Arrive at 55 or later. Wandering Silithid packs punish anyone who treats the desert as a fly-through.
- Take the flight path first and quest second; the Un’Goro run is the longest part of the trip.
- On PvP rulesets, Silithus turn-ins are a magnet for fights, so travel with a partner.
- Stack the zone’s quests with your Un’Goro and Felwood chains so the hearthstone trip home is worth it.

Silithus is tuned for levels 55–59 in WoW Forever. Lower characters can pick up the flight path safely, but questing is rough before 55.
Where Is the Entrance to Silithus?
The entrance to Silithus is in the northwest corner of Un’Goro Crater, marked by two rock pillars. From there, a single road leads to Cenarion Hold.
Where Is the Silithus Flight Path?
The Silithus flight path is at Cenarion Hold, with one flight master for each faction. There’s no other flight point in the zone.
Is Ahn’Qiraj Open in WoW Forever?

Can You Swim to Silithus?
You can swim to Silithus from the Forgotten Coast in western Feralas by following the shoreline south. It’s the safest route for low-level characters.
Silithus has one road, one flight path, and a lot of angry bugs. Walk in from Un’Goro once, grab the Cenarion Hold flight master, and every later visit is a short flight. The zone is worth visiting for its endgame quests, Cenarion Circle reputation, and Silithyst world buff, especially once you reach level 55. From there, Silithus becomes a useful part of your endgame route rather than a long trip through Un’Goro every time.
