The Riverglades is one of WoW Forever’s four new zones: a frontier of rivers, farmsteads, and trade routes on the eastern coast of the Eastern Kingdoms, built in a part of the map that Classic never opened. It covers the mid-30s to mid-40s, the stretch where Classic leveling always ran thin, and adds more than 150 quests. Here’s how to get to Riverglades from both continents.
WoW Forever Riverglades Key Takeaways:
- The Riverglades is a new contested zone for levels 36–44, described by Blizzard as mid-30s to mid-40s.
- On land, a new fork off the Redridge Mountains road leads into the zone.
- A new ship runs from Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris to Powderfuse Port, the neutral goblin port on the Riverglades coast.
- Alliance flies from Farholde Keep; Horde flies from Rog’mar.
- The zone holds Krol’dok Stronghold, a new outdoor ogre dungeon for levels 40–45.
- While The Riverglades is available in the Beta, all of its content is too high level to access, so players will need to wait for the official release on November 4, 2026.
How to Get to Riverglades
You get to the Riverglades either by land through a new fork off the Redridge road or by sea on the new ship from Tanaris to Powderfuse Port. The zone sits between Redridge, the Burning Steppes, the Badlands and the Swamp of Sorrows, roughly the size of Stranglethorn Vale.
| Route | Best For | How It Works |
|---|---|---|
| Redridge Road | Eastern Kingdoms characters | Take the new fork east off the Redridge road |
| Tanaris Ship | Kalimdor characters | Steamwheedle Port, Tanaris to Powderfuse Port |
| Flight Path | Return trips | Farholde Keep (Alliance) or Rog’mar (Horde) |
Alliance characters questing in Redridge or Duskwood have the easiest trip: follow the Redridge road and take the new fork. Horde characters in Kalimdor will find the Tanaris ship more direct; Powderfuse Port is neutral, so both factions can use it. The ship is part of Forever’s new sea network, alongside the Stormwind–Auberdine and Menethil–Southshore–Auberdine routes.
📌 The Riverglades content testable in the Beta. While the zone itself is accessible and can be explored, there is no way to access quests and other content as it is too high level for Beta.
Riverglades fills the mid-30s to mid-40s leveling gap, giving you a clear path toward the level 60 endgame. Once you finish the zone and reach max level, Onyxia’s Lair becomes one of the raids to tackle, and our service can help you get through it without stress.
Riverglades Details in WoW Forever
The Riverglades in WoW Forever is a level 36–44 frontier zone with more than 150 quests, new reputations, and its own dungeon. Generations ago, human forces chased retreating orcs into this valley, and the settlers stayed. Their descendants now share it with orcs, ogres, gnolls, goblins and murlocs, while the Twilight’s Hammer is the main enemy and the Brotherhood of the Horse an old ally.
- Farholde Keep: Alliance hub and flight master (60.6, 81.6), led by Knight Commander Demar Brant.
- Rog’mar: Horde hub and flight master (59.6, 45.1).
- Powderfuse Port: neutral goblin port with the Tanaris ship.
- Krol’dok Stronghold: outdoor ogre dungeon for levels 40–45, final boss Overlord Mugg.
- Sunnyglade, Meadowsbrook, Windstead and Twilight’s Shroud: other named areas for the exploration achievement.

Riverglades Tips
These Riverglades tips will matter on launch week:
- Arrive at 36 and take the zone in order; there’s no level scaling in Forever, so brackets mean what they say.
- Run Krol’dok Stronghold once for its quest XP. Forever gives less XP per dungeon kill and more per quest.
- Expect crowded layers on launch week and plan quest objectives around the rush.
- From here, Tanaris, Feralas and The Hinterlands are the natural next zones.
The mid-30s are where most players lose momentum. Our WoW Forever Power Leveling can take you through the Riverglades and on to 60.
