Moonglade is the Cenarion Circle’s sanctuary in northern Kalimdor, wedged between Felwood, Winterspring, and Darkshore. Druids come here for class training and quests; everyone else comes for the Lunar Festival, Timbermaw business, or the flight path. In WoW Forever the glade sits right next to the new Mount Hyjal endgame, so knowing how to get to Moonglade matters earlier than it did in Classic. Here are all the routes, with the requirements for each.
WoW Forever Moonglade Key Takeaways:
- The only ground route to Moonglade is the Timbermaw Hold tunnel in northern Felwood.
- Every character starts Hostile with Timbermaw Hold; you need Unfriendly to walk the tunnel without being attacked.
- Druids skip the trip with Teleport: Moonglade and can use the druid-only flight masters in Rut’theran Village and Thunder Bluff.
- Low-level characters can use the Darkshore drowning trick to reach the Moonglade spirit healer.
- Moonglade has no level range and no dungeons; its regular flight masters serve both factions.
- There are no flying mounts in WoW Forever, so every route is on foot, by flight path, or by teleport.
How to Get to Moonglade
The standard way to get to Moonglade is through Timbermaw Hold, the furbolg tunnel in the far north of Felwood that branches toward both Moonglade and Winterspring. Class and level decide which of the four routes makes the most sense for you.
| Route | Who Can Use It | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Timbermaw Hold Tunnel | Everyone | Unfriendly with Timbermaw Hold, level 48+ recommended |
| Teleport: Moonglade | Druids | Class spell from level 10 |
| Druid Flight Masters | Druids | Rut’theran Village (Alliance) or Thunder Bluff (Horde) |
| Darkshore Drowning Trick | Everyone | Accept death, resurrection sickness and durability loss |
For the tunnel route, follow these steps:
- Fly to Talonbranch Glade (Alliance) or Bloodvenom Post (Horde) in Felwood.
- Talk to Grazle near Felwood‘s southern entrance (around 50, 84) and take the level 48 Timbermaw Ally quest.
- Kill Deadwood furbolgs and turn in Deadwood Headdress Feathers until you reach Unfriendly.
- Enter Timbermaw Hold at the northern tip of Felwood and take the branch that winds north on your minimap; the other exit leads to Winterspring.
- Ride into Nighthaven and talk to the flight master.
The drowning trick is the budget option for alts: swim north from the Darkshore coast into Moonglade waters, let your breath bar run out, and resurrect at the Moonglade spirit healer. Strip your gear first to save on repairs.
📌 Players report respawning back in Darkshore when they died too close to the border. Swim deeper into Moonglade before your breath runs out.
While Druids can set their Hearthstone to Moonglade for convenient travel around Kalimdor, it isn’t necessary because they have access to Teleport: Moonglade. Other classes, however, will have to make the trip normally, and having a fast Mount makes these longer journeys much easier.
Moonglade Details in WoW Forever
Moonglade in WoW Forever is a contested sanctuary with no level range, no dungeons, and four flight masters. Nighthaven, on the shore of Lake Elune’ara, is where druid trainers, the Cenarion Circle, and the Shrine of Remulos are found. Forever’s map data also lists the Stormrage Barrow Dens at the eastern end of the zone.
The two regular Moonglade flight masters (Alliance at 47.9, 67.1 and Horde at 32.1, 66.3) serve every class once you’ve discovered the path. The two Nighthaven flight masters at 44.3, 45.3 and 44.3, 45.7 carry druids only.
Barrow Deeps, the 10-player raid opening on December 9, 2026, has three world entrances. Blizzard has confirmed one on Mount Hyjal and hasn’t named the other two, so treat any Moonglade entrance as speculation for now.

Moonglade Tips
These Moonglade tips save the most time on a first visit:
- Farm Timbermaw reputation while you quest in Felwood anyway. Feathers from the Deadwood camps stack up fast.
- Take the flight path on your first visit. The tunnel is short, but it’s never fun at low reputation.
- Druids should keep their Hearthstone set elsewhere; their teleport ability already covers Moonglade.
- Rogues and players with invisibility potions can sneak through the tunnel before reaching Unfriendly, but a single dismount aggro can end the attempt.
Getting to level 48 just to open a furbolg tunnel is a long road. If you’d rather arrive with the grind done, our WoW Forever Power Leveling service gets your character there while you play something else.
Moonglade FAQ
Below are the most common questions about how to get to Moonglade in WoW Forever, covering routes, levels, and reputation.
How Do You Get to Moonglade Without Being a Druid?
Non-druids get to Moonglade through the Timbermaw Hold tunnel in northern Felwood once they reach Unfriendly reputation with Timbermaw Hold. The Darkshore drowning trick also works if you only need the flight path.
What Level Do You Need for Moonglade?
Moonglade itself has no level requirement, but the Felwood route realistically needs a level 48+ character. That’s when Grazle’s Timbermaw quest becomes available.
Can You Fly to Moonglade in WoW Forever?
You can’t fly to Moonglade on a mount because WoW Forever has no flying mounts. You can take a flight path once you’ve discovered the Moonglade flight master.
Why Do the Furbolgs in Timbermaw Hold Attack Me?
The Timbermaw furbolgs attack because every character starts at Hostile with Timbermaw Hold. Reach Unfriendly through Grazle’s quests and Deadwood feather turn-ins, and they’ll let you pass.
Did WoW Forever Change Moonglade?
Moonglade in WoW Forever keeps its Classic layout so far, and Blizzard hasn’t announced changes. The Stormrage Barrow Dens appear in the map data, and Mount Hyjal now sits right next door.
Moonglade is a small zone with an awkward front door: one furbolg tunnel, a reputation gate, and a level 48 quest. Sort the reputation once, and it’s a two-minute trip forever. Druids can skip the tunnel entirely with Teleport: Moonglade, while everyone else should unlock the flight path on their first visit.
